  Anyone who knows anything about my reviews knows one thing they are always 100% honest! All I can say is for a McDonald's inside an actual truck stop they actually have pretty decent food I mean and all sincerity I don't mean that as an insult too the food at this location I'm just not a big McDonald's fan to begin with so if it's their breakfast or their ice cream cones that's about where mine ends but having said that the service and the drive-thru was actually really good and they actually had their ice cream machine on, and as you know that's a classic treat for McDonald's to go with the I'm sorry we're currently cleaning our ice cream machine or it's currently out of service so all in all with my visits to this place I've been very pleased 👍🏻

  The burger was made correctly. It's their delivery system that fails to work. Something about delivery is a great bomb to let go here. Their service attitude is rather interesting for a restaurant. Anyways this is on the don't visit list. What a joke of a place. You'll be sad when you leave this place. Might get food.

  I am extremely dissatisfied with the service! It’s a total waste of money. Stop hiring people who can't do their jobs properly—we are paying you, and having customers leave unhappy should reflect negatively on you. What exactly are the managers looking at?

  I normally do not leave negative reviews unless there is a consistent pattern, but after repeated experiences at this location I feel compelled to say something in hopes that management or the franchise owner will address what is going on. This review is about the McDonald’s located at 2400 Alliance Gateway Freeway in Fort Worth inside the Williams Travel Center. The biggest issue at this McDonald’s is extremely slow service and poor organization with DoorDash, delivery pickups, and mobile orders. I regularly pick up delivery orders, and it is honestly shocking how consistently chaotic things are here. It is very common to see multiple DoorDash drivers waiting 30–45 minutes or even close to an hour just for simple orders. This does not appear to be an occasional busy night — it seems to be the normal experience at this location. Drivers walk in expecting a quick pickup like at most McDonald’s locations, only to find a lobby full of frustrated drivers and customers who have already been waiting far longer than they should. I have personally seen five to ten drivers waiting at once, all asking about orders and receiving vague answers or no updates. Communication from staff is often dismissive or nonexistent. When drivers politely ask about a DoorDash order, the response is usually “it’s coming” or “we’re working on it,” but no actual timeframe is given. At times staff appear irritated simply because someone asked about an order that has already been waiting 20 minutes or longer. The atmosphere in the lobby often becomes tense because people are waiting so long. I have personally seen drivers visibly frustrated and even swearing after standing there for extended periods with no clear communication about their orders. While waiting in line, an employee told drivers that DoorDash orders “close at 1:30 a.m.” and that they will not prepare or release DoorDash orders after that time. The problem is that DoorDash orders from this location continue to appear in the app after 1:30 a.m. Drivers are still dispatched here and accept the orders, only to arrive and be told the restaurant is no longer doing DoorDash. This wastes drivers’ time and can negatively affect a driver’s acceptance rate and performance metrics. On my most recent visit I attempted to pick up an order that had already been placed and paid for through DoorDash, and staff refused to prepare or release it. Multiple drivers were told the restaurant was simply not doing DoorDash orders. At the same time, the restaurant appeared to shut down entirely while still listed online as open 24 hours. The drive-thru lane had wet floor signs blocking vehicles, and approximately ten wet floor signs blocked the entrance from the Pilot travel center into the McDonald’s. The side door near the drive-thru was also locked, leaving no way for customers or delivery drivers to enter. That means customers are placing and paying for food, drivers are being sent to the restaurant, and the restaurant is refusing to fulfill orders while still appearing open. Because of this situation I have contacted DoorDash support, and they informed me a merchant investigation team will be reviewing this location. I will also be submitting feedback through McDonald’s corporate customer care so the issue can be reviewed at a higher level. Most drivers understand restaurants get busy, but waiting 45 minutes to an hour for fast food defeats the purpose of fast food and causes customers to receive cold food while drivers lose time and income. I hope the franchise owner, general manager, or corporate McDonald’s team reviews what is happening here and improves how this location handles service and delivery orders. Until then, customers and delivery drivers should expect long waits, confusion with DoorDash orders, and inconsistent service at this McDonald’s location in Fort Worth.
