Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported extremely slow service, particularly in the drive-thru, with long wait times often exceeding 20 minutes.

Operating partner on duty working drive-thru in the early morning hours of 03/01/2026 was extremely rude and unprofessional. Will be contacting corporate in regards to this, as a former employee I know this is not a standard for the franchise.

Half empty fries. Choclate shake that had all chocolate mix at bottom of cup and mountain of vanilla ice cream at top. When asked about why it wasn't mixed, Was told they don't mix anymore.

Overall was a 1 star. I ordered on the app. Got the 3 mins after my time frame. Checked in and waited 15 mins. They came out to give an order to someone who just pulled in. When I asked about my order they said they would check. Waited another 15 mins. Another employee came out. I asked again and she told me to just go in and ask a manager. I walked in and it was there in the online order area by the frier. Food was cold when I got it home.

Restaurant looked clean, noticed the cooking oil for fried items, looked dirty so I should've followed my first mind and walked out. Ordered my food, smelled like onion rings so I asked if fries/onion rings are fried in the same oil, they said no. I ordered my burger and crispy fries, burger was good but fries gave me bubble guts, dirty grease. I am so irritated with fast food places that don't change their cooking oil, it was dark brown, change it. Now I'm sitting here with an upset stomach due to the mgr telling me grease was good. My first time at this location, I will never, never ever return to this location. PLEASE DO BETTER FOR YOUR CUSTOMERS!
