Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
While many customers praised the food as hot and delicious, there were several complaints about cold, overcooked, or incorrect orders.

Do not go to the second drive-through they cannot get the orders right with the two lanes. They’re not that experienced enough for that kind of traffic you’ll get forgot about in the second lane.

I remember ~
Sitting in the living room,
my head in a paperback,
smells drifting in from the kitchen.
“Mom, can you please make me a
Sausage,
Bacon,
Egg,
Cheese,
Biscuit sandwich?
Cut in half?”
“Sure, love!”
But wait…
Not the living room. Not Mom.
WataBurger drive thru
I was in my Altima, scrolling Facebook.
That is what I called out…
to the speaker.
“Sure love.”
Yep, that’s what I heard —
not Mom, but Addie (A.D.)
the voice behind the curtain.
She brought the bag, smiled, and said,
“I hope you have a nice day.”
Well yeah… I just did. ~}

The wait in the drive thru was excessively long even though there was two lanes service. I ordered the whataburger single patty cheese burger with extra lettuce, mayo on top bun with veggies, easy mustard and ketchup on bottom bun. The burger was terrible! The meat was dry, overcooked with hard chunks of burnt pieces around the edges. Every bite I encountered a hard piece of meat. The meat was so cold that it didn't even melt the cheese or show any signs of a slight melting. The ketchup was so heavy it made the bottom bread soggy. I've been to Whataburger many times but usually get the patty-melt. This time was my worse experience. I won't be back even for the patty-melt. My money is too valuable to waste.

Literally the worst whataburger I’ve ever been at!!!
As soon as we came in the manager gave us an attitude really bad like bad and it was pretty awkward when she was taking our order. When they gave us our order my burger had a lot of hairs when I say a lot I mean a lot! I asked to change it and they were kinda rude about it, until this really nice guy replaced it for me and my husband’s too just in case. But then someone else ( a lady ) came in arguing about something too. I believe she was in the drive thru and someone wouldn’t take her coupon or something like that I don’t know. But once again the restaurant did something wrong because she was complaining. In conclusion the whole restaurant is a caos and people are so ruuuude all the ladies where rude they only nice person was the young man working there. I would never go back to this restaurant just because of this experience but also because it’s heartbreaking how these employees treat people.
