I come to this location 4-5 times a week because I live across the street. Twice, I’ve experienced the same dismissive attitude from a guy behind the counter in the meat department. He’s very chatty with certain people and when I approach the counter greeting him, asking him how his day is (1st time, he ignored me and stared at me until I ordered the shrimp I requested). Today, chatty again with a couple in front of me and as soon as I walk up, he doesn’t greet me, not friendly, he asked me “do you know what you want?” Rude and so uncalled for, you have no idea what kind of day I’ve had and if you’re working in customer service, hospitality to all people is the number one skill set he should have

I recently relocated to Fort Worth for work and resumed using Tom Thumb as my go-to grocery delivery service, since it’s the most convenient option nearby. I subscribed to the Fresh Pass, anticipating I’d place two or three orders per month. On December 26th, I scheduled a delivery and picked it up just minutes after the driver left it at my door. While unpacking, I discovered that approximately $70 worth of items I had paid for were missing from the order. That same evening, I requested a refund through the app and didn’t think much more of it—until today, when I checked and saw the request had been declined. I contacted customer service, who advised me to wait seven business days for a potential review and reversal of the decision. This is frustrating, especially since the total for about eight bags came to over $250, and I’m out $70 without any resolution. The delivery driver’s photo, which I’ve attached, clearly shows that key items like a 12-pack of Red Bull (essential for my long work hours) are absent. In the past, when I lived in Dallas and Denton, missing items were refunded without issue. However, under this new “insure your shopping” policy, it feels like the process is intentionally drawn out to encourage customers to pay extra at checkout for protection against undelivered or potentially stolen items. I wasn’t sure where else to voice this concern, so I’m sharing it here in hopes of some advice or resolution.
