This was not a minor issue and reflects a significant lapse in food handling and quality control procedures. I contacted Panera Bread corporate and spoke with a corporate manager regarding this incident. Unfortunately, the response lacked urgency, concern, or accountability, which is particularly troubling given the potential health risks associated with food contamination. Serving contaminated food is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about sanitation standards at this location. I am sharing this experience to formally document the incident and to warn other consumers, especially those ordering salads or other fresh food items. I WILL NE CONTACTING THE HEALTH DEPARTMENT!!!! As a result of this experience, I have lost confidence in this location and will not be returning.
