I picked up a crawfish boil from HEB and had mixed feelings. The crawfish were seasoned really well with great flavor and just the right amount of spice. The crab legs were perfect and definitely the highlight of the tray. Unfortunately, the shrimp were way too salty to eat. The salt completely overpowered the flavor and I could not finish them. The potatoes were also very hard and undercooked. I could not even bite or chew them. One thing HEB always gets right is their customer service. The staff is consistently friendly, helpful, and welcoming. Even when something is not perfect, the service makes the experience better

Is there any supermarket that can compare to HEB? Perhaps, but not one that I've ever heard of. Excellent prices and products all throughout. Their pre-made meals are delicious and worth the price, but the ones that need to be cooked in the oven have a pretty short shelf life. They last like 2 days in the fridge, max, before they go bad. Just fyi.

Approaching, the store has a fresh, updated appeal. The parking lot is devoid of potholes and the spaces are clearly marked. Walking in, the experience opens up a world of variety and plenty to go around. The fresh vegetables and fruit are just that; fresh. So many choices. The meats and cheeses had my mouth watering. The isles are wide; easy for passing carts. Every isle is completely stocked with just about you may be looking for, and those that you didn't know exist. The staff is readily helpful and you can always find one available. We were there just for a short trip and overspent, but it was a delightful trip.

As grocery stores go, HEB is one, if not the best chain in the country. They have about everything you could want in a store. They not only are MASSIVE, but their HEB line of foods rrally shines above almost any other brands. They have a heavier focus on pre-prepared meals and fresh produce than most stores but specializes in many other categories including plants and hoen goods. The one downside is they can get BUSY and parking is far from ideal...often their parking lot is full which had hundreds and hundreds of parking spots. The store is large enough to handle the capacity of people but do pick you times wisely or it does get crowded. Overall its thr best in Texas and definitely in the area...wish there was another one close to handle the number of people who love it like us l! You can do online orders which is great for the busy modern family...however is can be hit or miss if they choose the freshest options for your to go meats and veggies.. Definitely deserves 5 stars at stores go. If it had a capacity section...I might give it a 4 but that is less a store challenge and more of "too many people" challenge as they keep the shelves stocked no matter how many people shop there.

I was in this store when it first opened and decided to let the crazy calm before going back. I went back tonight and that’ll be my last time. Not being native to Texas, I’ve heard nothing but amazing things about HEB. This specific location 1000% has the wrong leaders. It was nothing but incredibly rude kids and young adults in management that were standing in front being loud and obnoxious. Walk up to check out, no hello, how are you, no nothing! I had a few yellow coupons I ripped off while shopping and asked her “did you want these now or for me to hold onto until the end” she said nothing, absolutely nothing but snatched them out of my hand so fast, I stood there in total shock. Is this how HEB is now training employees to treat customers? There’s at least 3 refrigerators in the back (milk) for one that are broken, seals ripped, shelves are bare… for a brand new store?! The reviews showing expired and bad food, rude employees…. Are y’all starting to see a trend yet? The wrong leaders in this store. My daughter goes to college in a town where there’s another HEB and we’ve been, nothing like this. I hope y’all figure it out, as for me I’ll be shopping at Kroger directly across the street.
