Been dealing wirh this side show circus of an HEB for about a year now after relocating from Houston. This place literally gives me anxiety issues due how ridiculously packed it is - and for Holidays you better plan your trip like you’re going to Disney. They stopped giving cart wipes during PEAK cold and flu season, and replaced it with some watery foam that does not clean the carts off. This is where I picked up strep throat a couple weeks ago after walking through clouds of customer’s hacking in the stuffed aisles. The layout of this store makes things worse, and the fact its ridiculously the only HEB in the entire area (seriously, what the heck??) makes this even more ridiculous. Produce is usually complete garabage, missing common things like cilantro, caters a LOT to the Mexican community with huge displays of peppers and chilies but never any other cultures. The HEB grassfed milk is also now never available, the price of the 1 pound brick grassfed 80-85% hamburger is $10.99!!! Why??? This is LOCAL TEXAS BEEF! Not imported!!! Never use their bathrooms - they are disgustingly dirty. Gotten rotten lunchmeat, moldy tortillas, and prices are asininely high. Their HEB sparkling waters are now $2 higher than they were just a year ago. Its like they use the excuse of tariffs to raise prices on everything even when an item shouldn’t be. Its like running the gauntlet trying to shop here. For the love of God, open another store and stop price gouging people.

H-E-B is the only place I shop for groceries. They have the best quality foods for the best prices. From the freshest meats & produce to dairy & shelf stable items, they are the place to go. Entire staff is kind and friendly. Store is clean and neat. I do wish they offered reward points, but nothing will stop me from shopping here.

I shopped in this store many times since they have opened in this location. I was always satisfied with my shopping. But today I really really was UPSET and have to review 1 star for this store. Why I did it? Cuz i had a bad experience with an old lady who was cashier today, she was not willing to help me when I showed her the picture of fruit I took the shelf : name and the price of the fruits i wanna buy to compare the higher price, the the wrong name of fruit when she check me out. The way she talked to me was unacceptable , unprofessional when she did the customer service . She looked like i was so annoyed and she wanna kick me out. It’s just my bad experience today, next time if I shop at this store again in early morning at 9Am, I never want to check out at her place again, Never!

I am accustomed to the Plano location off Preston Rd, and the Fort Worth Alliance area location has the same layout and quality. I have shopped at the Fort Worth location more than once and am proud to be an H-E-B customer. I recommend 1836 Farms flavored milks and Volleman's lemonades. The large variety of flavors or brands for items such as yogurt, Kefir, creamers, etc. is excellent. The H-E-B brands oftentimes are as good as name brands.

This location is just okay. While it and Central Market are owned by the same company, I find that HEB's produce spoils much faster. We often have to buy the more expensive chicken because the yellow-packaged chicken breasts consistently have standing water inside, which is a major concern. The store is almost always crowded, making it difficult to move around comfortably unless you shop very late at night. Curbside pickup has been my biggest frustration. Despite specifying no substitutions, I have repeatedly received the wrong items, and they often forget things I have already been charged for. For instance, I once ordered three gallons of milk but only received one, forcing me to drive back to the store even though I do not live nearby. Rotten produce, particularly potatoes that are mushy or have a bad odor, is another recurring issue. I also avoid the flower section entirely. As a plant collector, every plant I have purchased here required a return due to spider mites, thrips, or fungus rust, which can easily spread to other plants. The store's lighting and crowds make it difficult to inspect plants thoroughly, so I no longer take the risk. Shopping here is purely out of necessity. In my experience, HEB is overhyped, and the lower prices do not make up for the consistent quality issues. I would rather pay more at Central Market.
