I ordered a delivery and after 40 minutes I called trying to figure out when it would arrive because the app said it was going to be there 20 minutes before. I spoke with one young man who was very nice and seemed very new. He wasn’t sure how to help so I asked to speak to a manager. The manager I spoke with was very rude as I was trying to explain to him that the situation was not okay. He said that he could remake the pizza because it had been sitting there for 20 minutes and I said that would be ridiculous if he didn’t remake the pizza. After this he got very upset and told me he was going to refund my order. I asked several times for him not to do that because we had already been waiting 40 minutes and didn’t really want to order from somewhere else. I also asked for his name and he said “I don’t have to give you my name” I’m guessing because he knew if I got his name I would make a bigger fuss. He then said that he cancelled my order and then hung up on me. I understand being busy and things not going as planned but if a customer is calling just trying to get an actual time on when the order would be delivered and a “manager” gets so frustrated that they cancel a paying customer’s order it’s kind of ridiculous and just horrible customer service. I ordered Pizza Hut after and it was delivered in 20 minutes!! Order from Pizza Hut if you’re in this area.
