So if you are going to Del Frisco's you need to be dressed really well. If not the host's will ignore you. I was dressed in average attire walked in presented myself for my party and was completely ignored by all 4 host's and they proceeded to seat 4 families ahead of us. It took one of the other people in my party to finally go up and ask why we were not seated.
So we were finally seated, service was fair food was fair. Prices are very high for what you get but there are worse places.
So in summary dress nicely and prepare to over pay for decent food.

For the past 5 years we have had Christmas dinner at Del Frisco. This year was not a pleasant experience. We waited 15 minutes for a server to even notice us. No water, no service at all. After 15 minutes, a very kind young lady by the name of Cassandra asked us if we had been helped. We said no, and even though we were not Cassandra’s customers she immediately jumped into action to contact our server who was actually standing at the table right next to us talking. When dinner came, the steak was cold, which is a clear indication that our server dropped the ball again.
Management here needs to know that Cassandra went above and beyond to make sure our server finally showed up. Cassandra took the time to make sure we were finally taken care of, and she spent her valuable time apologizing even though serving us was not her responsibility. Cassandra is 5🌟 Our server -1🌟. Thank you, Cassandra you did good!

I’ve been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, but I was disappointed today. We were seated 10 minutes before our 5:30 reservation which was great, but after our drink orders we felt like we were forgotten. Our dinner orders were finally placed 15 minutes after we got our drinks. I got my salmon and got a piece of bone in it, my boyfriend had ordered a ribeye with the “house special” butter on it of truffle and crab but we received the ribeye with no extra butter, we told the man who was delivering our food to not worry about it because at this point we just wanted to eat, then our server showed up with our butter and the crab was cold. I was let down because I was out with my sister and her husband and we both had previous good experiences. I am reluctant to come back again.

Our friend Jason treated six of us to dinner here, a night we’d all been anticipating for weeks. Unfortunately, the entire *3+ hours* experience was disappointing.
Even though our reservation had been made weeks in advance and we arrived early, we still waited more than 15 minutes past our scheduled time to be seated. With no proper waiting area, part of our group stood pressed against a counter near the crowded bar, while the rest had their backs against the entrance partition, as the crowd consistently walked through.
Once seated, drinks arrived promptly, but our server said she'd only take appetizer orders, despite us being ready to order dinner. (Btw, the Petite Lobster Tails were scrawny - there was twice as much sauce as lobster meat.)
From appetizers to entrées, the wait stretched to nearly *2 ½ hours*! While a portion of the food was above average, the overall quality did not justify the excessive delay.
Having dined at many upscale restaurants across the country, I’ve never experienced such slow service. I'm sorry our friend wasted his money there. Needless to say, we won’t be returning. Thankfully, there are other high-end local restaurants where each of us has consistently enjoyed excellent service, so our next group outing will be at one of those.
