I recently visited Cosmics, and I have to say it was a poor financial investment for McDonald's. They entered a competitive market without the ability to compete effectively.
I spent $16 on a large iced French toast latte, a spicy queso sandwich, and hash brown bites. The latte, which I requested extra sweet, tasted like a regular iced coffee—definitely not worth the price. The sizing was misleading; what they called a "large" felt more like a medium. I even added an extra shot, but I doubt it was in there.
The hash browns were disappointing as well—four bites for nearly a dollar each, and they were cold and soggy instead of crisp. The sandwich was small and subpar; I could have spent the same amount at Dunkin' and been much happier.
Overall, this experience left me unsatisfied, and I doubt I’ll return. The staff was nice, but this business feels unnecessary. I can’t see it lasting long in such a competitive space.
