While making bowls, the employee’s phone rang, and he reached into his pocket to check it with his gloves on, then continued preparing food with the same gloves. I had to ask him to change them — that’s unacceptable and unsanitary. Staff should be properly trained on food safety and understand that gloves are for handling food only, not personal items. Phones should be used on breaks, not while serving customers.
