For the most part, a decent store. It's super expensive compared to Walmart or WinCo, but it's the closest to my house. I spend about $800 a month here and spam the points for free bread rolls but they're really casual with discrimination. Real talk, I look bummy these days. I have a bad health diagnosis and stopped caring what I look like in public. So I know for a fact these people think I'm homeless when I go into the store even though I spend a lot of money (for me), going in about four times a week. Their loss prevention follows me around and even followed me to a register to make sure I paid, though I've never stolen anything my entire life. When I use the restroom, they send someone in almost immediately. At first I thought I was paranoid, but they have a water fountain in the hall where the bathrooms are. I went to use one and their guy went to the restroom within fifteen seconds. He opened the door, saw I wasn't there, and walked away. When I'm in the restroom, he'll hang out and be extremely noisy to let me know I'm not welcome there.
Mind you, I'm not actually homeless.
I don't steal cuz I don't need to and don't care enough about material things to want to steal.
I don't do anything illicit in the restrooms.
This is just how they treat people when they think those people are homeless. I walk everywhere because my health makes me prone to blackouts, so proximity is a selling point. That's one star. Their bread rolls are the best bread in the area, so that's the second star. But I'm going to walk the extra mile to the Neighborhood Walmart going forward after today. I gave this store a year and thousands of dollars hoping they'd stop treating me like unwanted filth.
Walmart has a better overall selection, is cheaper, and they don't hound me for existing.

I shopped here around 10 this morning. One leathery old lady with way too much lip liner, stood there and glared at me the whole time I was at self check out. Made me really uncomfortable.

Weird white guy with a hat followed me around in the store. Possibly Loss Prevention. He followed me to self check out and looked over my shoulder into my purse. I looked at him and he said he was looking something over there. I immediately thought he was creepy. I dont understand how thats allowed especially when your buying your items and your on camera. I purchased my items with cash at self check out. I looked around to see where the guy following me went and he didn't even purchase anything him self. Had no cart. Was being awfully suspicious. Im always aware of my surroundings but being profiled as a thief is sad when your actually a happy paying customer. I purchased my prenatal vitamins, a slice of cheese cake, Belvita cookies, and limeade juice. Im pregnant and i was wearing all pink. Not really sure why any one would want their customers to feel uncomfortable or stalked. Coming up behind a woman at self check out is unacceptable especially when shes done nothing wrong. We were nearly face to face. I have dignity, integrity, and respect. obviously thats something this person lacks. I have my receipt and the time marked as well
