I’d give this Sonic Drive-In location 3 stars. There were definitely some positives, but also a few frustrating issues that kept it from being a great experience.
On the positive side, the speed was impressive. Our order came out very quickly, and the staff we interacted with in person were polite and professional. Customer service during the visit itself was solid.
However, the food quality didn’t match that level of service. I ordered a Coney footlong meal with only cheese, meat, and bun, but it came with chili on it anyway, which was disappointing since it was a simple customization. I also ordered a double Sonic cheeseburger meal, and one of the patties was noticeably burnt. On top of that, the lettuce was poorly prepared and had to be removed. The soda that came with the meal was also flat, which didn’t help the overall experience.
Another issue was follow-up. After the visit, I tried calling the location for 2–3 days to address the problems, but couldn’t get through to anyone, which was frustrating.
Overall, while the speed and in-person service were great, the food quality and lack of response afterward brought the experience down. Hoping for better consistency next time.
