Store is great. Cashiers rush through scanning your item and basically throw them across the belt. And the gas station security needs to get a back bone. We went this evening and some lady was driving recklessly around the gas station pumps and wanted to cut us off after we were patiently waiting. And she got out of her car and showed the security guard a badge and had him come tell us to move. Since when do security guards do that? He should have told her it’s a first come first serve not drive around aimlessly and recklessly and rush the pumps. He only told us something because him and the lady were poc. She knew she was in the wrong and decided to go to another pump.

I had never shopped at H.E.B. prior to the store opening recently in Forney. I did hear a lot of hype about how great it was and how low the prices were. Now that I've been there, I would say that it's a nice place to shop. It's big and has lots of options. I haven't found the prices to be much h different from the stores at which I've previously shopped. And when it comes to food prepared in store, such as bakery items and ready to go meals, the prices seem rather high to me. Overall it's a good store but maybe over-hyped.

I'm happy that HEB has finally arrived, it's a bit of a drive from Mesquite to Forney Tx. I was impressed with the store in general but I have come across a major concern. Products in produce, bakery, meat department and other items with expiration dates are due to expire within a day or two or within 3 days of purchase. I have spoken to 3 managers on 3 different occasions voicing my concerns, Emily was the last one I spoke with. I don't feel I was taken seriously. The next time I'm at the store I will take pics of every item I come across and document this issue. Corporate office needs to get involved, this store is to new to be having lazy stock rotation. H.E.B. has a reputation to uphold.

So happy to have an HEB locally. Enjoy the large variety of specialty items that my family buys. It's great that there are many cashiers. Bathrooms are clean but have tight stall doors that do not leave much room for getting in and out of the stalls. However, there are so many RUDE and INPATIENT ppl who shop here. One young man stood blocking an aisle because he was talking on his phone. I said excuse me to get around him. He took his time to finally move and tried to get sassy with me for saying- excuse me-. I said it in hopes he would simply take one step aside so me and others could get by. How've, my husband happened to join me right as the young man started to get sassy. My husband is a built muscular man. The young man stopped in the middle of his disrespectful tirade and walked away once he saw my husband standing beside me. Then next aisle over I was stopped and browsing which item I wanted to pick and an older colored lady literally just walked up from behind me and jerked my cart out of her way to grab an item close to me. I was like- hey, you just had to say excuse me or pardon me and I would have moved my cart out of your way or handed you the item you sought. Yes, this has also happened to friends who went shopping inside there. They reported a lot of rude and inconsiderate customers, so buyer beware. And, yes, unfortunately, the parking lot was not designed with ease of entrance and exit. There is a bit of unnecessary congestion entering and exiting because of this layout. So be watchful and careful. I, also, agree with the review that the employees walking up and down the aisle need to at least have a SMILE or hello, good day/ afternoon/ evening to share with the customers. Friendly and welcoming is the Texas way!!

It's an HEB and I mean that as a compliment. The store itself is gigantic yet arranged in a way that makes finding what you need quite easy. The BBQ is available right near the entrance as is produce, sushi, and meat/cheese (great selection of cheese in particular). Following along the back side of the wall you'll pass by alcohol and then hit actual "regular" grocery aisles after this. The selection is great and prices are fair with sales getting you some great bargains if you catch them at the right time. The store is clean and brightly lit with many labels guiding you. This is very helpful because, as I said, the square footage itself is quite large. Customer service is fantastic with most employees being extremely friendly and outgoing. I typically use self checkout but I'm always told to have a good day on my way out which is a nice little touch. The location is convenient being right next to the highway although traffic can be an issue depending on when you go. Parking isn't a problem so long as you don't go during a mad rush. Oh and curbside is available which is also great - order online and go through curbside and they'll literally bring your things right to your car. Overall, a fantastic grocery store and easy to see why so many people were excited to hear HEB was coming to Forney. I think the hype was justified and this location is worth a trip if you can make it!
