- MCM.j Coleman1 day ago1.0We ordered takeout dinner today. The order was supposed to be the chook sammie chicken sandwich with aussie fries and baked potato, and blooming shrimp. We got salmon instead of the chicken sandwich, probably due to the bad phone connection or the lady that took our order couldn’t hear well or speak clearly. We don’t eat salmon! The blooming shrimp was so soggy and salty that it could not be eaten. So disappointed in the meal. We had heard from a friend how good the food and service was at Outback. Maybe they ate at different location. Awful experience.

Allison our waitress was awesome very friendly, and nice. I have been going to outback in mesquite for over 30 years and I have to say this one in forney has beat them hands down on my first vist. The food was so good 8 oz sirloin was very delicious cooked just the way I love it. I will be back to this one. Mesquite outback you just lost me to forney. Sorry.

When the food was still not at my house 40 mins after the promised time, I called the number on the order to inquire about it. One of the managers (Jordan), answered the phone. While I wasn’t happy about my food being still stuck at the restaurant - it wasn’t their fault. All DoorDash’s fault. The manager went ABOVE AND BEYOND. She called DoorDash on my behalf, offered to deliver my food herself, and also had brand new meals made for us. I decided to drive in and pick up the fresh meals myself. She made everything right in the end. Even though none of it was the store’s fault. That is the type of leadership I will praise all day long. She turned out negative experience into a Very positive one. And for that, I’ll be loyal to this location! Not to mention, the food was hot and delicious!
