It’s my first time here. I love the ambience. I had the Carne Asada (medium rare), it was so tender and tasty, although a bit salty for me but the plantain and the yuca balanced it out. The portion is big. I like it that someone is always checking out if we need anything or just asking if everything is good. Axel did an excellent job serving us. The price is very reasonable. With the food that good it was well worth it. Highly recommend.

We are from CO and came to visit family in town. Came here with my best friend and our kids because Gloria’s is their favorite place… And I have to say, this is the best place I’ve ever been to. The food was incredible, but what made our time here more special was the customer service we received from our server, Armando. He is awesome! He made jokes, made us laugh. And he was kind. We love Gloria’s now too!! Another reason to visit tx again..

we usually go to this restautlrant because of the great service and awesome food but today Saturday march 26 -2026 our waiter lingered too much on our tabke , asking personal questions aboutvwhere we are from and stuff , we were polite and stuff making conversation but honestly it felt too invasive , we love this restaurant but i dont know if we want to come back… that being said, take my order be polite and leave me alone , i dont want to talk to you , i ll leave a nice tip to be polite but just dont assume i want to know your stories .

I’ve spent enough time at Gloria's Latin Cuisine to know what it *can* be—but this last visit felt like the version they hope you don’t notice.
We came in on a mid-Sunday afternoon, and the place looked like it had already given up on the day. Unbussed tables, trash on the ground—it set the tone immediately. With the covered patio full, we were pushed to the “sun side,” where worn umbrellas barely did their job. The table was literally scorching in spots. There were misters and fans, but none were on. We asked. Nothing happened. No acknowledgment, no follow-up—just heat and silence.
Service felt reluctant at best. You get the sense the staff doesn’t want to be there, and management isn’t interested in changing that. Watching the manager peek out and then disappear instead of addressing a simple request told me everything. It tracks with past experiences—issues brushed off, zero warmth.
Food didn’t save it. The queso arrived lukewarm and already starting to congeal, which is about as unforgivable as it sounds. Margaritas, as usual, are the one redeeming constant.
And yet, somehow, you’re still staring at a $100 tab for two people sharing a dish.
What’s frustrating is the contrast. The newer Gloria's Latin Cuisine feels polished, clean, intentional. This location feels neglected—like management has checked out.
I’ll probably still swing by for a bar margarita. But sit-down dining here? Hard pass unless something changes.
