The rice was terrible! Very watery, more like something from a Chinese restaurant, but not even that good. Certainly not Mediterranean-style basmati rice. Big fail there. The tahini and hummus were also more watery than usual, looking like they had been around a bit longer than they should have. The taste was lacking in its usual. Luna Grill had been one of the top 2 Mediterranean restaurants for me before today. I'd like to think this was an off day, but the change wasn't small. It was dramatic, like a massive recipe or supplier change. Whatever the cause, I'll be giving Luna Grill a break for awhile. I may come try again after a long while to see if they've corrected the error of their ways. After all, it used to be one of the absolute best. But now, it's an absolute no.
