It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- TTtaylor tNov 4, 20252.0i typically come here since i live close by, i feel like you either get a decent experience or it’s the worst you’ve ever had. there’s been countless times i’ve had to go back inside after going through the drive thru because they forgot my fries or sauces. this morning i went and ordered a honey bbq chicken strip sandwich and subbed the bbq for honey butter. pretty easy, ive done it countless times. i had to sit and wait about 15 mins, i understand chicken takes a little while to make but i just expect that if im going to have to wait that long my sandwich shouldn’t look like it was thrown on the ground and stepped on. it was also super dry.

- BBbrooklyn bristowOct 31, 20251.0the lady at counter was absolutely rude to my family and i. it took a very long time to get the food out and when our food came out it was the wrong food. i had a burger and it looked like they put old lettuce on my sandwich and it tasted like our food had been sitting under a food lamp. we asked for the lady to change it and she said that’s not my fault that is kitchens fault. she was very rude when we asked to get it changed.
