Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

I am an EMS employee and have to post in random places throughout the night on my shift and fortunately enough for me I was able to post near this Whataburger specifically! I have never had better chicken strips in my entire life! When I walked in, I was greeted by all smiles and very friendly faces! despite the late hours, everyone that served me was very friendly and inviting. This restaurant in particular was very clean! Me being in EMS, I really needed my food quickly in case of an emergency. I got my food so quickly it was almost unbelievable! I may have to recant my dislike for Whataburger after this interaction! I now love, Whataburger…. Especially this one in particular.🩷

The first time after ordering and getting to window they couldn’t find any order and stated that I had not had my order taken and was lying, they decide to retake my order and then when I got my food all of it was incorrect. The second time I went through and got fries with spicy ketchup I asked to make sure my ketchup was in there they stated it was, it was not. Neither are that big of a deal but they are just not pleasant about anything.
