Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
My recent visit to Whataburger was very disappointing. The dining area had a lot of flies, and it felt like we were constantly fighting them off the entire time we were trying to eat. They kept landing on my food multiple times, which was very unsanitary and frustrating.
At one point, my husband was literally smacking them away with his hat just so we could try to finish our meal. It made the whole experience uncomfortable and honestly ruined our appetite.
This is definitely something that needs immediate attention. Y’all need to get some pest control in there ASAP. A clean and comfortable dining environment should be the bare minimum. 😟🪰

This is the only location I have been to in the state of Texas that isn’t sweetening their tea much. It’s like the manager is cutting costs by cutting out more than 3/4 of the usual amount of sugar that all other Whataburger across the state typically use. I specifically go to whataburger because I love the sweet tea. I should not have to sweeten it ever. I won’t be back until they follow the other whataburgers example and sweeten their tea like we like it in Texas. I wonder what else he is cutting costs with 😑

Jeje
