Was choking with a piece of there meat that had fat and was well hidden inside another piece of meat that came with the caldo de rez.... We dined in during lunch hour. My son ordered a menudo for comida corida and did not eat it. The soup and menudo were extremely hot. The smell of the meat of menudo was very strong and tasted bad. It felt like leftover food that was reheated!!! Moreover, Don't think the owner called to check up on her customer right away. It took her a day and a half for her to call back. Her reason was because she was dealing with a lot of customers. She had two caterings.... What was I? CHOP LIVER.. VERY VERY unprofessional and lack of empathy. Her staff just stood and watched as my son did the hymenox manuevor.. Our waiter was the ONLY one who asked if I was ok, but after the comment that they don't get involve because there have been lawsuits in other cases and by the way laughed while he was talking to us. THE MANAGER in charge never bothered to ask if I was ok!!! Owner made a comment that I continued eating and they figured I was ok!! Ya we went to go eat and yes I ate a soft enchilada on plate. Everything else I brought home. She stated that they reviewed cameras.. She stated that her manager during the shift called her right away!!! Oh Great, right???.. well the fact that she waited a day and a half to check up on her customer who literally felt as if I was going to die that day, says ALOT about how much her customers mean to her!! We will be taking our business where the staff and manger show some compassion and respect for there customers.
Was a bit pricey but the food was very good

My son and I went to eat for lunch. Restruant was really empty. Ordered caldo de rez and son ordered a menudo along with lunch special. They brought it to us extremely hot which we thought was cold and heated up and may have been even from prior day. The menudo had a weird smell and taste. My son did not eat it. As I proceded to start eating, I was choking on meat. I literally thought I was going to die. I was not able to breath. The meat I ate had a chunk of fat in between. I did not notice it. No one came to my rescue but my son who literally saved my life. He proceeded to do the hymenox manuevor and saved me.. My waiter stood there and watched alongside another waitress. The only thing I heard him say was so you want me to call ambulance? What the hell, you go and do that right away. How can you ask while you stand there and just watch!!! Owner said be cause son was helping and that's why they didn't get involve. I totally understand, it's the FACT that he came to table to see if I was ok and stated that some staff don't get involved due possible law suits. While smirking with a low laugh.. The laughing was what really upset me the most...That was the worse thing anyone could have said. I told him I asked for help and you just stood there. None the less NO manager came to see if I was ok. I left and called and reported it to assistant manager. She apologized. She didn't bother to get my name or phone number but only said I will bring it up to owners attention. I proceded to give her my information and asked if owner could call me. Well a day and a half passed by and I received a call from private number. r was the owner.. the Only reason she called was because I called that day asking for owner once again and her assistant manager said she has the day off but would related the message. This lady (the owner) had a cold tone to her voice and even was upset and asked me rudly if she could please talk while I felt she was making excuses.. She stated she never has a day off and she had 2 catering orders and was dealing with ALOT of customers and barely had the chance to be able and speak with me without interruptions.. WHAT WAS I CHOP LIVER!!! I was FURIOUS at the lack of concern and caring while trying so hard to hold my composure!!!!! She stated the manger on sight called her right after incident.. you would think she would have called IMMEDIATELY the same day!! BUT NO IT TOOK HER A WHOLE DAY AND A HALF TO RESPOND!! She even had the odasity to say that I continued eating and they saw the cameras and I guess they assumed I was ok!! HOW DARE SHE!! I told her if you look at your cameras you will see that I brought my food home and I ate the soft enchilada. That is why we went there to eat lady!! Her response was cruel with NO EMPATHY what's so ever!!!!! There are better restruants with caring staff to go to that serve fresh food!!!!. We will NOT be taking our business there EVER!!!!!!!??THIS WOMAN LACKS EMPATHY!!! NO PROFESSIONALIM WHATS SO EVER!! IF IT WAS MY BUISNESS /RESTRUANT, I WOULD HAVE BEEN ON THAT PHONE IMMEDIATELY CALLIMG MY CUSTOMER TO SEE IF HE/SHE WERE OK THE SAME DAY!!!! NOT A DAY AND A HALF LATER!!

Delicious food and friendly staff. I am a "snowbird" from Indiana and googled Mexican restaurants. I picked an exceptional one. I had chorizo and eggs and the staff brought me other dishes to try- all delicious!

I recently stopped by here for the 5th time and had a fantastic experience. My server Fernando provided excellent service. He was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect throughout the meal.
I ordered the regular shrimp cocktail and the birria taco plate. The shrimp cocktail was outstanding. The portion was very generous with plenty of shrimp and a great amount of fresh avocado on top. Everything tasted fresh and well balanced.
The birria tacos were just as impressive. They were packed with flavor, perfectly cooked, and very satisfying. You can tell care goes into how the food is prepared.
Overall, the value for the price was excellent. The portions are great, the food is delicious, and the service was top notch. I will definitely be coming back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for great Mexican food in El Paso.
