Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

But today the even shift really dropped the ball today because today I decided to try something different and ordered the Honey BBQ chicken strip sandwich. (Never again) The chicken was old and dried out and not only that they only put 1 chicken strip and 4 of the chicken bites for my sandwich. The only reason why I didn't take it back was I was in a rush and needed to go take care of something. I go to this Whataburger at least 3-4 times a week and never had this problem when ordering food. Hopefully this is the last time as well

- VPVirgie PresnellJan 30, 20265.0This location is a little tricky to get to if you're unfamiliar with the area, but it's well worth finding. The food has been excellent everything and the order exactly right. The burgers are much better than their competitors any day and much healthier since they actually have plenty of lettuce and tomato and the beef is freshly cooked. The only drawback is the double drive-thru lanes, always use the closest to the building.
