Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Was asked to pull forward. 5 minutes later someone came out and asked me to pull to a parking spot up front. When I asked which part of the order was taking so long they told me the chicken strips. I asked for them to take the chicken strips off of my order and just bring me the burger. 7 minutes later they came out with the order which I told them to return and give me my money back. 5 minutes later they came out and asked me for the receipt. Another 5 minutes later they brought my card back. So I guess I played FAFO and lost. I should've just never ordered there at all.

I suggested she do a quick chore while I looked so I didn't waste her time. She hesitated, then offered to answer any questions and helped me find the perfect food for me. I got a #1 meal with bacon. It was $11 and change. I had no idea what to expect. It was a super good burger, and that's saying a lot because I normally won't order hamburgers anywhere. It was big, came exactly as I ordered and was scrumptious. While I ate in the lobby someone came by my table offering catsup and gave me the napkins I forgot to grab. All around great experience. Oh, and on a Friday night at 6:00 pm the floor was freshly mopped and the cups and straws and such stocked. I will definitely be back!
