Great food, good service.
The only thing I would fix would be the entrance and branding. I wasn't sure what restaurant I went into, as the sign outside says Sazon and it isn't clear how to get inside after parking and walking around the building.
Very bad experiences. I've been here a few times trying to give it a chance. None of as at a table of 8 were impressed. The best compliment my friends gave was "it was edible" not what you'd expect from a chef run restaurant. The carnitas were not like anything I've had. They were very tender but not crispy like the carnitas I'm used to. Good flavor but tasted like bagged Asian sauce for the marinade. Get soy vey teriyaki from the store and you'll get the same flavor. Cevice was plain with zero seasoning. Also had the halibut piccatta. Fish was way undercooked and the piccatta sauce lacked any flavor just felt oily and plain. Like unsalted drawn butter with zero bite or tang. Extremely dissapointing. Now the rice was good so there's that. Service was spotty with drinks coming at random and some getting served multiple before all of us had ours. Im not sure why people think or thought this was a good place. The chef has a following I guess but I mean demand better El Paso! We patron these mediocre places saying they're "good" when they are basically "good enough I guess". Slightly better than a meal you can make at home in an atmosphere that is more confusing that comfortable.

Sadly I was really disappointed about this place, the decor is great and it seems the kind of place you enjoy over drinks, however, the food was awful, my wife ordered the chihuahua pasta, it was extremely over seasoned and it tasted like it was frozen, it left a really bad aftertaste, for me I had the chia’s chicken and to be honest, a chicken bake from Costco would it be better, won’t coming back…

I travel to El Paso frequently for work and decided to stop into Starlite Gastropub with no reservation. I’m so glad I did. The food was excellent, the service was warm and attentive, but what truly blew me away was the live jazz duo.
Coming from NYC, I’m used to hearing top tier musicians, and that saxophonist was absolutely world class. The music elevated the entire dining experience and made the night unforgettable.
Starlite Gastropub has officially become my go to spot whenever I’m in town. Highly recommended!

Went to Starlite to show a friend from out of town something away from your typical tourist spots. It was great. Menu has a variety of foods for different cravings and the portion sizes are just right. Nothing was too heavy or too light. So it allows you to order other tasty items to share with the table. Our server was great and knew the menu very well. RULIS is a great chef and hats off to his sous chefs including Nikko.
