  It is somewhat like Longhorn, Chillis... my sweet potatoes were served cold, but as soon as we told the server, she exchanged them for a new one. The service is great.

  Top 10 restaurants we’ve visited recently! Allexis was our server and she was incredibly attentive. We never had to ask for refills. She made great drink recommendations. She made sure two people in our party that had allergies were well taken care of. At first, we were disappointed the line at another steakhouse was super long and we didn’t want to wait, but it was a real blessing in disguise as there was no wait for us on a busy Saturday evening and I can’t say enough good stuff about the staff and food here!

  When we arrived a party of four we were told it would be a 20 minute wait by the host and then three parties later they were told it would be an hour wait. One of the parties that arrived way after us was seated before us. We waited over an hour and when I talked to the host she said that the party that was seated before us had a reservation but she lied and when I told her they didn’t I heard they were given an hour wait time she said that the manager Brittany authorized us getting jumped over because the lady’s adult son was throwing a tantrum because he didn’t want to wait!!! I did not appreciate being lied to nor being jumped in line by. This is so unprofessional and they just lost a long time dedicated family

  We came specifically for the Vaquero Tacos (BEST TACOS EVER, I even bought gift cards for family as Christmas gifts to try them), which are still on the online menu and at other locations, so it was disappointing to find out they’re not offered here anymore.The visit started rough — we were told to “take a seat and we’ll be right with you” without taking our name, and two groups were seated before us until my husband spoke up. Brisket Queso was AMAZING, but entrées were inconsistent: my dad’s ribeye was barely warm, my medium steak came out rare, I ordered medium (mom ordered the same and hers was good), and my husband’s burger came with onions even though he asked for it without. Manager Mike apologized when he overheard us talking about our experience with one another. We love the San Antonio Saltgrass (a 10/10 for us), so I’m hoping this location gets back to that standard.

  Made Reservations for 6:45 and I got sat down and the low table infront of the bar. 15 -20 min pass by and no waiter. I get ignored by the bartender when I spoke out who is my waiter. Then server passing I speak out to him tells me I'll find your server. 10 min I guess im your server he says. Puts in order then comes back 15 min later I need order again I threw away paper with your order I just left it's 8:45. It does not take 2 hours to order and eat dinner! Service terrible repeated order cause forgot lost whatever, order wrong (sides, soups, etc.) You would think effort would be made to fix what problems were caused but nothing. If i would have told him about my plates that were ordered wrong i would still there. No Manager intros nothing! I make reservations cause I don't have the time, waist of time, money , and wasn't even hot and correct!
