Panera Bread has been overhyped in my opinion. I’ve ordered there three times and haven’t been satisfied with any of them.
The first time, I ordered a sandwich, but it immediately fell apart when I picked it up with my hands. It turned into a mess, and the taste was okay.
The second and third times (both orders were placed on the app), I ordered the broccoli cheddar soup. Unfortunately, both orders were wrong. I don’t understand how six workers can’t get my order right, especially when it’s just one soup.
The second order, I received an onion soup, which I tossed out because I was already home and changed. The third order, I received potato soup. This time, I went back to the restaurant, and one cashier apologized. However, I was perturbed by the other workers.
I won’t be going back to Panera Bread. Instead, I’ll continue to go to McAlister’s, which is right down the street. They have much better sandwiches and soups, and I love their tea.
It’s a pity about Panera Bread. I was excited about the arrival of several more sandwich restaurants in the area, but unfortunately, Panera Bread didn’t meet my expectations.

Very unpleasant experience, sadly its good food but very awful service. Incompetence with staff’s
1) time management- 20 mins from when i drove off from drive thru speaker to actually getting 1 half sandwish and bowl of soup.
2) service delivery- this location does not honor accurate rewards gained, our app said 3 pack for macaroons, they said they could only do 1.
3) customer service/professionalism- male at the window had the audacity to make condescending remark and tried to correct me when i mentioned we had been waiting for 20 mins. He tried to correct me and said that his screen showed 10 mins. Even though my receipt showed it was printed 13 mins ago. Not sure since they struggled at the window to take my payment that is what caused the order to actually be submitted later but i counted time from when we completed ordering in the speaker, this was 20 mins total. Lack of accountability and ownership. This happened on 2/1/2026 @ 3pm mst

Had lunch yesterday and Ariel was absolutely amazing! She greeted us with a warm smile, patiently answered all of my questions, and went above and beyond explaining the menu. Her recommendations were spot on! Excellent customer service from start to finish!
It takes me a lot to write a review. This place has been nothing but amazing. They definitely go out of their way. One moment I would like to share was at the drive-through. The line was extremely long. My order was really small. They came out and handed me my order so I didn’t have to wait longer truly amazing staff. It has been pretty amazing how friendly everybody is you guys keep up the good work definitely worth the trip.
