Do not support this family of thieves ⛔. I brought my Chevy Suburban to Luis Marquez at Xpress Body Repair for an engine swap (Brenda Marquez, his wife I believe, is listed as the owner of Ciro's). Luis told me the engine from my other truck, a Cadillac Escalade, was compatible. After having both trucks in his possession, I was told the Cadillac Escalade engine wasn't compatible. Luis recommended me to a guy in the back of his shop, Chino (whose real name is Antonio), for a motor. Antonio agreed to exchange the Cadillac Escalade transmission for a working 5.3 motor. However, the engine from Chino was no good, so Luis had him work on it at the shop. I was given the runaround for 5 months, excuse after excuse. Luis even threatened to keep both my trucks with made-up storage fees when I questioned his integrity. Luis wouldn't let me retrieve the Cadillac Escalade until the job on the Chevy Suburban was done. The day I picked up the Chevy Suburban, I talked to Luis about getting the Cadillac Escalade towed home. Luis told me he couldn't find the motor and to give him a few days. They also broke the door handle on the driver's side and replaced it with one of a completely different color, also left wires exposed on the bottom of the truck. On the way home, I received a call from Antonio demanding payment for having to work on the defective motor he gave me. I told him he needed to talk to Luis about it because I had already paid the agreed upon price for the job (2,500). Now, Luis at Xpress Body Repair is telling me that Antonio took my 6.0 Vortec Cadillac Escalade motor without my permission as payment. Xpress Body Repair never reached out to me to confirm Antonio had permission to take the motor. Xpress Body Repair refuses to take accountability when both trucks were in their care. According to Luis, I need to talk to Antonio about it because I made the deal with him. However, the motor was never part of any deal, and he knows this. The police considered it a civil matter due to the 'he said, she said' situation. They advised me to file a complaint with the Justice of the Peace for deceptive business practices. I will also file complaints with the BBB and the Attorney General. I posted a more detailed review on Google.
