  Love the chicken tostadas but sometimes they're too full and sometimes not also, the chicken is dry sometimes, consistency is good when I go to a food chain..... other than that is so good.....

  Two employees on their cell phones in cooking area. Manager might be relaxed with employees productivity but cell use should be not allowed in food prep area. Chicken slightly under cooked but food is good overall. Maybe owner can make a more customer enjoyable experience next time

  Employees are great..food was over cooked could barely chew the chicken,crunchy taco was way over cooked could barely bite into shell..ive never had el Pollo loco till it came to albuquerque nm and it was great and fresh, el paso one not so great

  Placed our order through drivethrew, Got up to window received part of order not all of it, clerk could not comprehend english and spoke very little aferwhich she called supervisor for help, wasn't much better but finally got order correct but discharged us (food was good)

  El Pollo Loco on Airway Blvd is a welcome addition to east El Paso, bringing that signature citrus-marinated, fire-grilled chicken to the neighborhood. I stopped in recently and was impressed by how fresh and flavorful everything tasted — especially their salads, which are a standout for anyone looking for healthier fast-casual options. I tried the **Mexican Caesar Double Pollo Salad** and it was excellent. It comes loaded with super greens and romaine, a double portion of juicy fire-grilled chicken, avocado slices, cotija cheese, tortilla strips, salsa fresca, and their creamy Mexican Caesar dressing. The chicken had that perfect smoky char and tender texture, while the greens stayed crisp. It felt satisfying and nutritious without being heavy — high in protein and packed with fresh veggies. Portions are generous, especially with the double chicken upgrade, and the calorie counts on these salads are surprisingly reasonable compared to most fast-food salads (the avocado one in particular is a lighter winner). The salsa bar lets you customize with pico, avocado salsa, or whatever suits your mood. The restaurant itself is clean, bright, and well-staffed. Service was quick whether ordering at the counter or through the drive-thru. Prices are fair for the quality and quantity. ¡Loco for the pollo... and the salads!
