The food was okay but a little over priced. I paid $35 for 1 person.

Came on New Year’s Day and called ahead late afternoon to see when they’d be closing, woman answering said she doesn’t know (very annoyed) and estimated about 8 pm (Times are different online for holidays). I showed up at 7 pm and the lady inside rushed to lock the door and turn off the open sign that was on when I pulled in to the parking lot, potentially the same lady. I didn’t appreciate this disrespectful behavior from a supposedly reputable restaurant.

Shout out to Ace BBQ Edinburg for their exceptional service and for always being kind to my mom who is 91 and has dementia. Their moist brisket and fideo are among the few things she will eat. Amazing food and we always feel welcome!

First time trying Ace's BBQ as I am venturing out for the best BBQ places in the RGV. This was my first spot as it close to where I live. Great service. Sam took care of me and everything she recommended was good. Brisket was a little on the hard/dry side but it was towards a later part of the day so maybe if I get there earlier it will be softer. Other than that, great place to eat. I will try it again. Try the pork ribs!
