  Placed a to go order on Thursday Feb 26th. My pickup time was 3:50 for car delivery. I texted my parking spot number just like I was prompted to via text. I waited until a little after four. No one had come. I then went in to the to go counter. No one greeted me, said one moment… nothing. I finally had to speak up and ask for help on the update with my order. One of the girls went to the back. She eventually came back and went straight to the Togo counter without saying anything to me. I had to ask her if there was an update. She said “It’s not ready yet”. Now why wouldn’t she just tell me that after checking. Ok…. So I continued to wait inside. After 10-15 mins went by I asked her again. She proceeds to say my order isn’t in the system. Then she finds my order in the system. She called for a manager who came and retook my order. I received another text alert saying that order will be ready at 4:45. I wait patiently even though I’m getting irritated and ready to go. 4:45 passes, no sign of my order. The Togo clerks are now busy answering phones and taking orders and I can’t get anyone’s attention for an update. I then went to the host desk to ask to speak to a manager. He comes and after I explained my situation he was apologetic and went to go see what was up. After waiting for him, I realize it is now after 5:00. At this point I just want my money back because why am I still here waiting on some catfish! I proceed to ask the Togo clerks to just process my refund. She said a manager has to do it. I ask well where is he because he had been gone awhile and I’m getting even more irritated. She goes over to the host stand and starts talking to the front desk about the situation. I see them over there giggling keek keeking about it so I walked over to let me know that I can hear and see them and how nothing about this situation is acceptable. The manager eventually comes with my order and says he was coming to comp/refund the charge. Here it is Saturday and that charge was never comped/refunded. I called the restaurant this morning and no one ever came to the phone. I’m disappointed because as locals, we frequent this restaurant a lot. When family comes to town, this is where we go. As a business owner who specializes in customer service, it makes me sad that local businesses cant provide great customer service to their community. My dad paid for our meal and I went to go pick it up. I hate this affected him as well because once he has a bad experience with something that affects his money, he is completely done with it. I hope someone sees this and contacts me or I will be trying to call them again. We had no problem paying but it’s the principle that the manager Robert said he was going to reverse the charge but didn’t.

  Lunch here was fantastic! The restaurant stayed clean, bright, and surprisingly peaceful even as more people came in. I loved that the staff were so friendly and attentive without ever making us feel rushed. Everything we had was great, and the atmosphere just made the meal feel easy and enjoyable. It’s one of those spots where you can really relax, catch up with friends, and savor the food. We all left happy and full, and I know we’ll be back to this location again. Totally recommend it for a casual, stress-free lunch that feels a little more special than the usual spot!

  Great restaurant visited on a Friday for lunch and was packed . Wait was 30mins. I believe having a reservation would be a good idea. Our waitress Sophia was amazing and so knowledgeable. She was engaging great Customer Service. It was crowded , the outside had lots of cameras in parking lot and indication of this not being a safe neighborhood. Overall my food was great I had Appetizers- calamari and octopus Lunch - Texas Redfin and shrimp. Great job Sophia Texas Redfin and shrimp

  I love Pappadeaux and the Pappas chains. As a foodie, I’m always asked what my favorite restaurant is and I never know how to answer because I genuinely love to try everything but when I stopped to think about it, Pappas is my go to. It’s never a bad idea, never a bad experience, and always a good time with good food and drinks. I encountered a small hiccup with my entree yesterday and was blown away at the level of care received by my server, Raven, and the manager, Sharelle. They went above and beyond to not only rectify the issue, but to make my experience better than ever. I truly appreciate the service I received and cannot give both of you ladies enough praise for your exemplary service. Rarely do I take the time to write reviews (which I need to be better about), but it’d be remiss of me to not give credit where due. Thank you both for demonstrating amazing customer service and the Pappas way !!

  The GOOD, the BAD, and the UGLY: First the GOOD…the food was very good. We had the 16oz. ribeye steak, the seafood platter, the crab/spinach dip, and the mozzarella sticks. The BAD…The only dish which was disappointing was the seafood platter… although they overwhelmed with the two large catfish fillets, they UNDERPERFORMED with the portions of shrimp and oysters. I think they hope customers don’t notice the disparity because the plate is FULL of catfish and fries. Finally The UGLY: my waistline after indulging in the dessert platter which was too tempting to pass up. One final observation…the restaurant was packed wall to wall! They served our meals in a reasonable amount of time which was impressive. Depending on one’s personal preference, the noise may be higher than expected especially if attempting to have an intimate or business dinner.
