Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

The employees really stand out they’re friendly, attentive, and go above and beyond to make sure everything is right. Service is quick, orders are accurate, and the whole place is well run. You can tell Jose and his team take pride in their work. Definitely one of the best locations around!

I used to love Whataburger... last time I had Burger King it was way better than what I was served tonight. I wouldn't feed it to my dogs.

Although, I can’t say I was very satisfied with the food. Tonight I ordered a jalapeño cheeseburger, and got halfway through eating the burger before biting down into a solid piece of plastic. It seemed like a plastic piece broken off of something and somehow made its way into my burger?? I’m not sure but it had been lodged into my patty without my noticing and hurt a lot to bite into. Luckily, I was able to spit it out before I consumed any pieces of plastic. But I was very surprised having such an experience after having so many good experiences with this Whataburger in the past!

Asked several other questions to make sure we had everything we needed. It was very refreshing to have a young man take pride in his work. Hope management takes notice of his kindness, smile and professionalism. Thanks Chris, you really made my day today. Food was good.
