Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

Always happy for a midnight run here. Staff is always polite. Burger is tasty and onion rings crispy! My go to when I don't feellike cooking.

The first time I placed an online order at this location is was a horrible experience. I waited my entire lunch break despite being less than 3 minutes away from the location and waiting and extra 10 minutes before arriving so they could have prep time. It was still late. Today, I decided after a couple months of not visiting to place another online order, and instead utilize curbside rather than online pickup. The app said my order would be ready withing 5 to 8 minutes, and I arrived promptly at 5:18 pm. After waiting 18 minutes, I finally got out of my vehicle and went indoors to ask for my order, only find that it was at the very back of the order table ready to go and finished at 5:14. The curbside runner deliberately delayed my order and had the nerve to give me a disrespectful glance for getting out of my vehicle. I opened my bag to discover the fries were tossed upside down and strewn throughout the bag.
Having a background in customer service excellence for over a decade at one of the most prestigious companies in the state, I know what a exceptional service looks and feels like, and this establishment has failed to show that not once, but twice when it comes to online customers. This location has and always will prioritize the drive thru and in store customer more than they ever will the people who are proactive and plan their meal time for whatever the reason is.
