First time at outback and I absolutely loved it! The food was amazing, the service was top teir. Even the manager came by to check on us and was professional and kind. Thank you Clarence for making my first time an birthday amazing!
The food and customer service were outstanding. Our waiter was a lot of fun and truly enhanced the experience. It was also great to see a long-time employee still working there—it speaks volumes about the establishment.
My mate rarely smiles, but even he said, “I like that young man.” The waiter was animated, attentive, and clearly understood the needs of his customers. Server- ZYCHARI

I wouldn’t know how the food was. I’m a vegetarian & ordered the appetizer trio with NO bacon. After being, literally, the last person to receive my food (I was FAR from the last to order), the fries were in the middle & covered in bacon.
There were a LOT of us. We called ahead to make a reservation. Fo approx 40 people, they assigned ONE server!! He was lovely! And, he did the best he could! I have no issue with the service except that management set him up for failure & a horrible experience for us!!!
Also, apparently, they don’t use any system for table orders. So, they auction off the food (“Who had a filet w/ a potato?”). If that weren’t bad enough, they also have no system to identify how the steak was cooked. Steak & baked potato…it would help if the servers knew how it was cooked so that when they auction off a steak, they could narrow down the winner!
Ugh! Exasperating to say the very least & be extraordinarily generous!! Abysmal is really more accurate.

It has been a long minute since we (my husband and I) have gone out to eat and left completely satisfied. Not only was the atmosphere of the restaurant inviting with calming colors and cleanliness BUT everyone from the hostesses to the wait staff had such good energy, positive vibes and friendliness everywhere. The food was delicious to the last bite, with flavor and freshness for days and our steak was cooked perfectly, which for any Texas steak eater that is a HUGE win in our book. Shakiya, our server was so attentive that it felt like we were on a resort with a private waiter that caters to tailor your experience. She was so knowledgeable to all the menu items and even when we had a random question, she made sure we knew about all the options available. (Tea Time Dearest Gentle Readers…☺️) There was even an incident with a “family” at a table that came in way later then us and acted out making a huge scene over not being waited on for 10 minutes (which was a lie and she and the entire staff there did nothing wrong) I just think they wanted something for free. To sum it all up I will be telling all my friends that DeSoto is the place to go on a Friday night at 7pm for a great time and amazing experience!
This location in Desoto, Texas has a black female named Tee who is negative and nasty with her attitude. She threw down the silverware and never apologized or said anything. Shaun did an amazing job with everyone during this busy time. I called to update the manager Branden or Brandon who has absolutely no skills to resolve the concerns and complaints. He said he spoke with her, however no apologies were given. The female shouldn't be working with people. Throwing things on the table intentionally is unacceptable. Leadership needs some training and tools and Tee should be terminated.
