Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Customers frequently reported issues with food being cold, undercooked, or not prepared as ordered, leading to dissatisfaction.
Service Issues
Many reviews highlighted poor customer service, including rude staff interactions and incorrect orders, contributing to a negative dining experience.
Positive Experiences
Despite the negative feedback, several customers praised the friendly staff and clean atmosphere, noting that some visits were enjoyable with fresh food.
Inconsistent Performance
The restaurant showed a mix of positive and negative experiences, with some customers expressing loyalty due to good service while others vowed not to return due to repeated issues.

GO TO ANY LOCATION BUT THIS ONE! I’ve come here twice since moving back to the area and both times my order has been wrong. Today was the final straw as they decided to serve me an old #22 (crunchy biscuit, bacon bits not even whole strips and a brown fried egg), I ordered fries and got hash-browns and I asked for jam and got jelly. Do keep in mind it’s 4am so actual breakfast hours for them. Overall just a bad experience yet again and I will not be returning to this location. Customer service was good.

My experience at this location is always the best since about November 2024. I come atleast 3 times a week and my food is always hot and fresh. I appreciate that the staff communicates well and are hospitable when there is a wait. I have food allergies so I always appreciate the patience of the staff when I have questions or concerns. I have spoken with Makayla Turner a few times and the way she reassures and shows that she values customers is why I will continue to come to this location.

This the second time I went here and the food is cold and under cook. They so busy just trying to send food out instead of making sure the food is actually cooked for eating. Will never go back to this place.
