Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

A very generous hamburger that you can order however you like it. This particular location on Fort Worth Drive has been consistently great with the quality of food and service during my visits. Good customer service and courtesy is top on my list of how an establishment is functioning properly. Cleanliness is a close second and food preparation is third. I've recently changed over to in house dining and have enjoyed watching how the staff interact with customers and their coworkers. Very happy to say that this location is doing a great job delivering on all three. I love how the employees seem to enjoy doing their work and I haven't seen anyone not busy taking care of their duties. It really is an enjoyable environment. It is also pleasing to see the manager actively working side by side with the staff and running the operation so well. I hope the other shifts are just as good in maintaining this location because it seems to be a great place to work. Price wise I think the value of the meal is better than other fast food establishments and you really don't have to wait very long for your order. The meal itself seems to be more satisfying and well made. I love that no matter which location you go to, it is consistently identical flavor wise. Great job Whataburger on Fort Worth Drive!!!
