Laila, our server, did an incredible job. Very attentive, hospitable, and as a frequent Landry’s member / Salt Grass regular, I greatly appreciated it as it isn’t always the case. Food was fresh and tasty as always. Thanks for the great service.

I ordered a 16 Oz rib eye for my birthday and asked for a less fat steak MR and got a medium cooked 12 Oz piece of hard gristle ! Manager came by and had a recook of the same exact piece of meat!! Thanks for ruining my birthday!!
Carter in To-Go tonight did an absolutely amazing job! I ordered via UberEats, and I saw on the receipt my (lengthy) notes from the app, and Carter just hit it SPOT ON! Thank you so much!
I eat here often, and will continue to come back with service like this! Y'all are amazing!
This was our first time in, what an amazing experience. 👏 We were greeted at the door with a smile. The young lady seated us right away. The restaurant was clean and nicely decorated. Our server Allen was awesome! He made suggestions, he was extremely pleasant and patient. Our food came out quick and tasted excellent 😋 We will definitely be returning.
My recent experience at Saltgrass, Denton was nothing short of appalling, and I feel compelled to share this for the benefit of fellow diners. What was meant to be an enjoyable meal quickly devolved into a distressing incident that has left me reeling.
As I sat down with my colleagues, we anticipated a pleasant evening filled with good company and delicious food. Unfortunately, the meal was marred by a horrifying discovery: one of my colleagues bit down on an acrylic fingernail hidden in his salad. Yes, you read that correctly....an acrylic fingernail! This alone should have led to immediate concern and action from the staff.
When we brought this shocking issue to the attention of the manager (white, blonde, female), expecting a professional response, we were met with an astonishingly dismissive attitude. Instead of taking responsibility or expressing genuine concern, the manager shrugged it off as if it were merely an inconvenience rather than a dangerous health violation. This lack of accountability and respect for our safety was beyond disappointing. Note: She never removed the meal from my colleagues' bill either, which clearly showed that she could not have cared less about the incident. Mind you, this was a table of 8 of us.
The food itself was unremarkable at best, and clearly, attention to detail is not a priority in this establishment. The ambiance was overshadowed by the grim realization that health and safety measures were deeply lacking. Dining out should be a pleasant experience, however, Saltgrass seems to neglect the fundamental aspects of food safety, customer care, and furthermore; accountability.
For anyone considering a visit, I strongly urge you to think twice. Until Saltgrass, Denton demonstrates a commitment to food safety and a proper handling of customer complaints, I cannot recommend this restaurant. My colleagues and I will certainly not be returning. Save your money and find a place that values its patrons and their well-being.
It may also be of importance to note that upon leaving the location, we observed that our server was in fact missing one of her acrylic nails. Do better Saltgrass.
UPDATE: The reply I received below from the “owners” is a canned response. I never once heard back from them. I stand by my review and look forward to my follow up from the Health Department.
