  I previously gave this place 5 stars. But tonight completely ruined it for our family. First thing, this is a food establishment, where is the health department? Because this place needs a visit, at night! No hair nets or beard nets. There is a blonde haired girl, her hair was in a pony tail that came all the way down the front of her chest down to her stomach, she also has fake nails with polish and way too much jewelry on. Check your cameras managers. The guys look awful, they need to brush their hair, put it in a hair net. Shows that at night they let any rules go out of the window. Now for our food, I specifically asked at the outside ordering speaker for fries that were fresh and not burnt. They gave us way overcooked fries (hard and dry) and the bottom of the bag. We also ordered the spicy chicken sandwiches and the pieces of chicken were small, I mean didn't even come close to covering the bread. We don't eat here often, so it's a treat when we do. Overall, this was a huge disappointment. (I'll post pics when I can. Didn't get a pic of the blonde haired girl)

  This is obviously a Chicago import to Denton / DFW. Really like the hot dogs here. Terrific casings that have a nice snap when you bite into them. The chili has beans if that is a turn off for you. Chicago style dogs have a great pickle / sport pepper combo. (Side note, before this review, thought that was a banana pepper so glad I looked it up.) Hamburgers here are okay. Chicago beef sandwich is good... worth it if you've never had one before.

  I don’t usually write reviews, but this one comes straight from the heart. After my house was struck by lightning and caught fire, my family and I were suddenly displaced. It was one of the hardest moments of our lives. In the middle of that chaos, the management at Portillo’s reached out and did something I will never forget : they generously offered to provide complementary meals for my family and the friends who came around to support us during that difficult time. That was actually my first time ever trying Portillo’s, and let me say this clearly: the food is AMAZING. The burgers are top-tier, the fries are incredible and satisfying. Since that day, Portillo’s has become my go-to spot whenever I’m craving a burger and fries. But beyond the food which is honestly excellent, what truly won me over was the compassion, empathy, and humanity shown by their management. In a world where big corporations are often seen as cold or profit-driven, Portillo’s reminded me that some companies genuinely care about people and actively do good in their communities. Now that I’m back on my feet, I can say without hesitation that I will gladly spend every dollar at Portillo’s. They didn’t just earn a customer, they earned a loyal supporter for life. Highly, highly recommend Portillo’s not just for the great food, but for the even greater hearts behind it. ❤️🍔🍟

  So, this was my first visit, it was late and I hadn't eaten all day. I ordered the rodeo burger without cheese on account that all they have is American cheese, which were all no is not real cheese. Anyway, I get my order from a very pleasant young lady. I drive away and parked because I had to eat like now but I couldn't because there's was the so called cheese on my burger. So back through the drive thru I go. And yes, they got it right this time around. So I parked to get my grub on. It was OK, the burger was OK but the bacon was very thin and the bbq sauce had a lil kick it certainly was not my favorite and definitely not something I'd order again. Would I try Portillos again, yes just not the rodeo. I wish I could have given it a better rating but I can't. It was late like 11pm and I was the only one in drive thru. Perhaps, next time all venture in and they will earn the rating every restaurant hopes for. But for now, y'all go get your grub on

  UBER AND PORTILLOS COLLUDE TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF DELIVERY DRIVERS. Portillo blames uber and Uber blames Portillo. This happens with all restaurants!!!! Another driver picks up order which means order was given to wrong driver. How I know, when I entered, the worker asked if it was an order that wasn’t mine. Knowing how Uber spent millions to onboard 90% of drivers that are immigrants and don’t speak English, those drivers take the food becuase they don’t understand nor do they care. Here lies the issues, I drove to this location on my dime and time and UBER DOES NOT PAY DRIVERS WHEN ORDERS ARE Cancelled! Portillos supports algorrhimic wage theft and predatory actions against it contractors that support their customers. I even asked the manager to take this issue to their meetings. She basically laughed at me and said that me as driver needs to deal with Ubee and she would not even put he effort into having the discussion with her team or management. PORTILLOS - you are in the people business and your delivery drivers are a part of that equation. This is a corp issue where uber and portillos needs to figure why this is happening and how you all can compensate drivers that put the effort to pickup an order.
