Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun.     Aight so this might be the best one in the area. The rapport in the kitchen was like a diner, productive, friendly, funny banter and strong teamwork. Extremely kind and communicative to customers. Other patrons were in a good mood from their excellent customer service and ambient sounds. Strangers got to chatting with each other. Funny people making banger food. Actually magical iconic American experience. I know I'm hungry but I about melted into my seat when I got my sandwich and felt like I was in a great environment. If there's a higher power may They keep this fantastic energy in more places in the world.

    Fast food places get your food wrong from time to time, it is a reality of communication in a fast paced environment. The difference with this Whataburger is that they make it right. I went home with the wrong stuff and came back the next day and spoke with Wilma - she was DELIGHTFUL! I was going to buy a large drink and fries (because that part of the order was right) and I hoped that they would provide a burger at a discount. Wilma had a new burger, drink and fries and refused to accept any payment. When I protested and insisted that I pay for the drinks and fries, Wilma replied with a smile on her face, "I have spoken" thus ending the conversation and beginning my smile that culminated with a lunch that tastes great. THANK YOU WILMA AND THANK YOU WHATABURGER!

    Ordered lunch here today for dine-in through the mobile app. The food came out hot and fresh in a timely manner and the front house staff was very kind and attentive. Whenever I order for takeout the staff is diligent about checking my order for completeness and doesn’t forget extra sauces I pay for.

    This location is the worst Whataburger in existence - in all regards. Quality, time, and service. The associate working the window laughed at my husband and I when we asked how much longer it would be (when it had already been 15 minutes and only one car was in the line prior to us…) her response was “yeah they had me waiting for an hour for my food before” Not quite sure why I’m even taking the time to write this considering all the reviews are saying roughly the same thing and nothing ever changes at this location. Sad it’s the closest one to our house but we will never come to this location again. Stay away unless you want the worst Whataburger experience you’ve ever had!!

    At this location they routinely take at least 45 minutes to give you your order. Usually it's over an hour if you include the time it takes to get through the drive through, put in your order, then embrace being stuck in the traffic jam they create by having absolutely everyone pull forward. They always forget sauces, just like they usually will lose track of who's order is whose and come out asking every car who ordered what because they lost track. The best part is the the employees get confused and agitated when you try to explain when they inevitably get your order wrong or just bring you someone else's. Do I look like a Tiffany, random whataburger man? I'm a 230lb bearded man. My name is not Tiffany. If they bring you the wrong one, enjoy the additional twenty minute wait. It means they lost your order and lost track of their L.A traffic jam of people waiting. Gotta love the way they just throw your food at you through your car window and run away as fast as they can. I don't need anyone telling me these employees care (they don't and I don't blame them) or that they're understaffed or whatever the excuse is. I'm reviewing the business and the business is too slow, the service is bad, the workers are short tempered while they try to figure out what you ordered, and the food is honestly not great. An hour plus for fast food is ridiculous, would be somewhat excuseable if the flavor was good but let this location introduce you to stone hard eggs and the wonders of congealing beef fat in your hamburger. Between that and the negativity of the workers increasing over years into outright hostility, my negative experience has been consistent enough I finally decided to leave a review.
