Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- WJWalter Jackson2 days ago1.0Management really need to train their employees. 4/10 @ 6:45pm. I asked the cashier for everything fresh as I ordered a #5 and a spicy chicken sandwich combo. I stressed HOT FRESH FRIES. I watched the working box remaining fries and sat them in the tray. After a 3-4 minutes, my order was prepared and I specifically told the guy I’ll wait on the hot fries that had just came up. The worker then bagged one order with the fries that sat on the tray and the other order from the fresh basket of fries that just came up. I touched the tray fries and they were cold. After I told him I requested hot fries, he goes in the bag, grabs the cold fries I just touched, dump them with the remaining hot fries that just came up, mix them then box/bag the contaminated fries in the combo bag. I pointed this out to the manager since he overheard the commotion. The manager then apologized and stated he will retrain him but did not throw the remaining fries out even knowing I had touched them. That’s not restaurant standards. This was my 3rd and last time visiting that restaurant. Customers were saying there’s always issues there.

Byron story is going viral and I will be one of the many that is now boycotting this restaurant chain untill they getbtheor act together. I understand that it's probably a franchise thing, but unfortunately I don't care. The franchisees need to fix this or watch their business decline.
