Michael actually kept my order fresh even when I showed up late for pick up, and loaded everything up got me instead of canceling the order when I missed the pick up hours. Valerie also always makes sure our online orders are correct and chooses everything with care and is so friendly!

- LLLucy LuskMar 30, 20264.0I like every other Tom Thumb I've been to in the Dallas/Plano area. However, the Tom Thumb located at Preston & Frankford is wishy washy. Money orders are supposed to stop at 9 PM, but theirs will close as early as 7 PM, things will be marked a specific price and upon making it to the register it will ring up at the original price. This has happened about three times, and every time I get the same lady, YT, ash blonde, cut in a YT lady bob with bangs and I believe she wears glasses, who always goes back and forth over the signage, I'm like lady, just go look at the sign. The last time this happened over some organic grapes which usually $6. or $7.99 but were on sale for either $3 or 4.99, all the fruit in that particular section had the same price and because I know the stuff will ring up wrong sometimes, I triple checked the sign. I request assistance and get YT lady bob, who proceeds to "YTsplain" what organic means, I mean she mentioned compost and all, and proceeded to say they wouldn't be on sale for that price, I just kept repeating, "go look at the sign. Go look at the sign." She ended up ringing it up at the sale price but never went and looked at (eye-roll). Lastly, if the meat is marked down 50% aka manager's special, it should ring up half off at the register, why do I have to wait for someone to scan the coupon and type in a code!? Overall, this is a decent grocery store and typically has good deals and sales.
