- AMAaron Merritt2 days ago3.0Just got home from the most underwhelming dining experience I've had in a good while. We were leaving NorthPark and decided to stop here since there was an hour+ wait at Texas Roadhouse and we just wanted quick steak (there were multiple open tables and zero wait times at Saltgrass). We both ordered filet mignon, which was OK but luke warm at best - borderline room temperature. My smoked mac & cheese was cold on the first bite and warm even at the bottom of the skillet. I ordered one of their signature drinks at the same time as our meals and never received it (waitress flat out forgot), service was slow despite not being very busy.. I could list other disappointments, but I really don't want to pick everything apart, just giving highlights. Not the worst experience I've ever had somewhere, but it really hammered in the final nail for us with Saltgrass. I genuinely stopped eating when I realized I no longer felt hungry, to bring the rest home to the teenage boys who'll eat whatever for leftovers.

Knox and Micah were our servers and they were attentive and friendly and gladly answered all of our many questions. We had the pickles and peppers and they were hot and delicious. The steak and patty melt we ordered were also delicious. 10 out of 10, would definitely eat here again.

- VTVictor ThomasMar 27, 20265.0Our first visit. We enjoyed the Texas memorabilia and artifacts on the wall which presented a true Western Saloon, Texas vibe. It was a very relaxing, comfortable, and inviting environment. Our waitress, Alexis, was wonderful and welcoming. I tried the chopped steak topped with onions, which was a very hearty portion with a fully loaded baked potatoe and house salad. The food was very well seasoned, I was impressed with the freshness of the salad. Our visit was certainly enjoyable and we'll be back!
