- FCFelicity ChapaFeb 24, 20261.0I attended the Valentine’s rooftop event at Saint Rocco’s New York Italian for the first time, and unfortunately, it was a very disappointing experience. When we arrived, we weren’t greeted or given any direction on where to sit or what to expect. After standing around, someone casually told us to “just find a seat and a waiter will be over.” We waited about 20 minutes with no server coming to our table. I eventually got up and went to the buffet myself because no one had checked on us. Another 15 minutes went by, and I was still trying to flag down a waiter with no luck. I finally had to stop someone while standing in the food line to let them know our table had not been visited at all. The food was horrible. It was cold, dishes repeatedly ran out, and every time I went back to the buffet line, something different was unavailable. I did not receive any fresh food until much later in the evening. I paid $170 for horrible food and extremely poor service, which is completely unacceptable for an event that was supposed to be special. What makes this even more frustrating is that I have requested to be contacted by management three separate times and still have not heard back. The lack of accountability and follow-up speaks volumes. I will not be returning.
