American Restaurant
Blending inspiration from its history, wine country, and contemporary culinary practices, Saint Ann features a garden-inspired atmosphere, patio dining, crisp cocktails, impressive wines, and modern New American fare made with fresh ingredients from local purveyors.
Beyond the dining experience, storylines of cultural history are waiting to be discovered in the details at Saint Ann. Once known at St. Ann’s Parochial School that opened in 1927, photographs, artifacts, and preserved structural features from this era lend homage to the concept’s roots. Follow a sense of wonder to the second level and find one of Dallas' top attractions - The Ann & Gabriel Barbier-Mueller Museum: The Samurai Collection. Featuring samurai art and armor, it is the largest private collection of its kind outside of Japan.

What a beautiful place! I can’t rate the food or the service because they were closed when I went there. The hours are wrong on Google maps. The afternoon gap is not represented.
Should be a simple fix. Feel free to message me when it’s updated and I’ll come back and try you guys out so I can adjust this review.

We went for Easter brunch. Looked at the menu ahead of time because we had a vegetarian with us. Noticed many dishes where things should be easily removed (side of bacon, ham on a sandwich, etc).
When we sat down we brought it up before ordering- and our waiter was dumbfounded we would ask. Deer in headlights. Said there were no options for our daughter.
He then left and got the FOH manager who was so patronizing and rude. They were doing prefixe meals for brunch, which we acknowledged, but unless they have everything premade and are heating in the microwave, it shouldn’t have been that difficult for a kitchen to just not put bacon on the plate etc. Told them politely that we’d like to just pay for our coffees and leave… which is when he finally said they’d “figure it out” for us. My daughter was left in tears from embarrassment. Other tables were giving us looks of sympathy.
Ended up paying an adult pre-fixe ($60) for my 13-year-old to have a side of melon as her starter, a plate with eggs and potatoes as the main (missing the fruit), and then cookies (cold from fridge and possibly store bought) as dessert. Really very much not worth it… and all items were on the children’s menu. Had intended to pay the adult price for her (they end kids at 12) but in expectation of an adult meal- or at least pieces of it. We asked if she could do an adult starter and dessert with a childrens main, but they told us that wasn’t an option because their “computers are not setup that way” and the pricing was matched only to the adult/children’s designations… though somehow they ARE setup to charge the adult price for a children’s prefixe. The explanation didn’t really make sense…
Even with the standard options the rest of us got from the menu (there were 5 of us), the items were wildly under seasoned, inconsistently cooked steaks, tiny portions for the cost/quality, and much of it feels like it is not made in house (Sysco or something similar). Even without the terrible service experience, we wouldn’t come back.

The garden is noce but they had not maintained it at all :( There were leaves everywhere and it was Dusty and messy and the plants in the bug planters were dying. The service was pretty sad too. There was no server outside at all and we had to wait so long just to have our water refilled.
Very sad coz we had chosen this place because of the garden to celebrate our 41st Anniversary.
Food was good but the whole experience was very sad.

Great experience. What a true gem in the middle of the city. The staff was excellent. The atmosphere was perfect and the food was delicious! Our waitstaff were superb!

I was happy to return to one of my favorite restaurants in central Dallas, only to be disappointed with the meal. The bacon chicken grillers were merely reheated and not crispy, the Caesar Salad was brown, and the $19.00 hamburger was merely cheese, mayo and shredded lettuce. Not worth the trip, choose an alternative destination.
