  The food is as stated. I had the Polish sausage loaded. Nice sautéed onions, peppers and mustard. Very filling. Nicely priced. I ordered large onion rings. These are above the average by far. For take out my favorite Chicago Dogs. Steady bun, good size dog, onions, tiny green peppers and mustard. My favorite. Only problem is that I can see with Portillos is that I want one of everything.

  This is my second visit to Portillo's. I love the drive through experience, very efficient and super friendly. I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and crinkle fries (well done). The burger was juicy and had the memorable flavor of a good old charboiled, backyard burger, and the fries were crispy and hot. I look forward to exploring the menu. It's nice to have something convenient and completely different in the area.

  (10/10 — if I could give more, I would!) I had my first visit to Portillo’s and let me just say — the food was amazing, but the real highlight was Kee at the drive-thru! From the moment she took my order, her energy, excitement, and genuine positivity completely made my experience. You can tell she truly enjoys what she does, and that kind of service is rare. As a first-time customer, I didn’t know what to expect, but she made everything feel easy, welcoming, and honestly just FUN. The food? 10/10. But Kee’s service? Took it straight to 100/10. If you’re going to the Addison location, do yourself a favor and ask for Kee — she will absolutely make your day better just by being herself.

  I was so frustrated I went on my lunch break first it literally took 30 mins well there’s my lunch break then she told me that I couldn’t get fried chicken on my salad then she completely got my order wrong I asked for Italian sandwich wet i get back to work I have Italian sausage ughhh i couldn’t even eat it because I HATE sausage I will never come here again your guys need someone who can take orders correct and promptly because this is ridiculous I spent $33 on food that was late and wrong 😑 I need my money back!!!!

  I tried Portillo’s for the first time the other day, and I must say I was very impressed. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was excellent, and the staff was very friendly. I ordered two Chicago dogs with fries and cheese sauce, which were incredible. I’ll definitely be going back again. It’s also an easy place to get to, which makes it even better. I arrived right when they opened, and the line was already long, but they moved quickly. I was able to place my order in about five minutes, and everything came out fresh and tasted great. I highly recommend this place to anyone. Next time, I’m going to try the Italian beef sandwich —it looks really good.
