I completely forgot to take a picture before we got the food. Yes I know in the picture most of the food is gone, we were extremely hungry and were not going waste food. I’m not sure if cooks were having a bad day, but the brisket was extremely dry, and had no flavor. I had to drown the brisket in bbq sauce because of how dry it was. I ordered the bbq chicken and same issue. It had no flavor, or any taste of seasoning. I think the only good thing about what we ordered was the fries. Extremely disappointed. Not worth the price, at all.

We visited as a group of 4 adults and 2 kids around 1 PM. I wasn’t feeling well and asked if they had a salad (something light for a main meal, not a side). I was told yes, so I ordered it along with water and paid/tipped upfront. What I received was extremely disappointing: a tiny salad served in what looked like a small paper bowl (about 3x5 in size). Definitely not a proper meal, and nowhere near what most people would expect when ordering a salad as a main dish. If salad isn’t really on your menu, it would be better to just say so instead of offering something this minimal. It felt misleading and not worth the price.

Literally I did not just get one dinner, I got a second dinner like a hobbit from Lord of the Rings. I got the sliced brisket with some mac and cheese, so juicy and so cheesy they were, absolutely delicious 🥲....when I finished them I was sad, not just that it was over but because I should have eaten slower like a normal person because I would have been able to savor it even longer. This food was amazing 😭 and I ate it so quick. That spicy barbeque sauce was just so damn good, I blinked I chewed my plate was done......but not me....I ordered another 1/2 lb of brisket, they were out of sliced and gave me chopped,(assured me it was the same, and Jesus Christ she was right) it was just as amazing 🫠. Didn't know when I'd be back there and couldn't leave without getting just a little more. I love this place and will be back the next time I visit Dallas. Hell yeah 🫠

The brisket sandwich arrives warm, wrapped in soft paper that’s already kissed by a little seep of juices. As you unfold it, the scent hits first—slow-smoked beef, a hint of oak, and that rich, peppery crust. The bun is lightly toasted, just enough to hold everything together without getting in the way. Inside, thick slices of brisket rest in tender folds, the bark giving way to meat so soft it barely holds its shape. Each bite melts apart effortlessly, carrying that deep, smoky flavor balanced with a subtle sweetness from a glossy layer of sauce. There’s a quiet kind of satisfaction in how it all comes together—the slight crunch of the crust, the buttery give of the bread, the slow release of juices that soak in just enough without overwhelming. Maybe there’s a bit of tangy slaw tucked in for contrast, or a slice of pickle that cuts through the richness at just the right moment. It’s not flashy or complicated, just deeply comforting and indulgent in a way that makes you slow down without even realizing it.

I came to try this place because I pass this place every day on my way to work and can smell the bbq, went inside the atmosphere gave rush , when then didn't even have a crowd , soon you walk in the cashier yells grab a menu , so you can look at what they offer, then go to place order the cashier was dismissive as if maybe his shift was about to end , none of my questions was answered, when I tried to ask a question the cashier ignored me and took the liberty to answer a white man's instead which honestly made me uncomfortable and I will definitely not be going back to this establishment. I asked for condiments bbq sauce the cashier told me I get them myself , they have all the toppings out in the opening the only thing covered is the bbq sauce , a man licked his fingers then proceeded to touch the handles and tops , unsanitary. I got the loaded hangry baked potato and definitely not worth the price, the brisket tastes dry, they just put meat and queso and four onion rings on top, no sour cream or any of the normal toppings that go on a loaded baked potato, the corn taste weird like they added cinnamon to the cream corn and if I'm paying $6 for a side of cream corn to go , it would be mindful to have to go containers with accurate sizes, instead of getting it on a thin paper thing
