Had such a fun time eating here! The server we had and the host's treated us incredibly well, and the food was delicious. A strange woman who was also eating there tried to put a damper on our night, but the establishment apologized on her behalf and were extremely kind. To the old woman in question who threw salsa on my car over a parking spot, if you're reading this, It's a free country baby. I do hope that you find something more meaningful in your life to do besides harassing teenagers. I had a wonderful rest of my night, thanks to the staff and my wonderful friends there with me.♥️

I went to Joe leo and had one of the most horrible and disappointing dining experiences. I arrived there and was greeted by a the host, he was very kind. I asked to sit a high top and he had to go double check with the bar to make sure that was ok. Once I sat down, a lady came to me with some chips and salsa after about 2 mins of me sitting. After that I was never serviced and acknowledged again. I waited for 21 mins with no service, no acknowledgement, I initially didn’t say anything because I assumed they were busy to which I understand, but after a while it became ridiculous. Servers, bartenders, managers were walking pass me constantly and not one person asked me if I needed anything or if I had been helped with. So after waiting I tried to get the attention of a server walking and again I was ignored. Eventually I went up to the bar to ask for service, and I was told by a bartender if I would like to order I’d have to come up to the bar to place my order????? And that wouldn’t have been an issue if that was communicated beforehand when I was sat at the high tops, but let’s say that was the case, and as later found out is not, You see someone sitting down for that long, one of the many people they had at the bar could’ve of stop by and said that. I decided to go back to the host stand and ask for a table because I didn’t have the time to keep going back and forth from my seat to the bar to order. Once I was seated it then took a server 10 more minutes to come up to me, and by that point I was fed up, I asked to speak to a manager, and explained to him my frustration and that’s when he let me know that you don’t go up to the bar to order and that a server or bartender comes up to you and takes your order and service you just like most restaurants. But even talking to him didn’t feel genuine. You’d think things would get better from there… it didn’t I continue to wait another 15 minutes to get my drink. and had to ask my server to order. I also want to mention there was a couple that came in after me and sat at the bar, and was already eating before I was even able to get a drink in front of me. Once I got my food it was just ok. I work in the service industry so I normally wouldn’t care to ask to speak to managers and come online and write reviews because I do understand things happens, and that’s why I was so patient at first but telling me that you guys are busy doesn’t excuse being completely ignored, and the pace of the restaurant at the time shouldn’t compromise service and guest experience. Just a terrible experience and I was excited to come here too, one star is generous. After reading some of the negative reviews, there seem to be a pattern with poor service in this establishment, that might be something you guys should focus on. 🙂

I honestly wish I had checked the reviews before coming, because now I understand exactly how this place landed at 4.2 stars. The service was noticeably slow, and the bartenders seemed completely overwhelmed, which set the tone for the entire experience. We came specifically because of an Instagram post featuring the soft serve margarita, and that was the biggest letdown of all. What we received felt more like a sample than an actual order. I was genuinely rooting for this place and wanted to have a great experience, but unfortunately it missed the mark. This ended up being a one-and-done visit for us.

Terrible experience from start to finish. I waited forever at the bar just to get a drink, and no one even acknowledged me. When I finally got service, it came with a bad attitude. We waited about an hour for a table, which would be understandable if the food made up for it—but it didn’t. We ordered two shrimp tacos, and they barely had any shrimp in them. I ordered the steak fajitas, and the rice was completely undercooked—hard in the middle. When I brought it up, the manager brought out more of the same raw rice and walked away with an attitude instead of fixing the issue. Don’t waste your time or money here. Bad service and even worse food.

So, today was not the first time visiting. I had a great time before. But today it was not the same. And it was quite concerning. First, I was asked if I wanted to sit indoor or patio. I came alone. I chose patio. The male hostess then proceeds to take me to a table with one single chair that was position solely in gravel away from the other guests. Literally an area for storage, while there were plenty of open tables at the time I arrived. I told him I will not be eating in the dirt. (See picture)We return to the hostess stand for a new table assignment. The female hostess (who seemed to be the person in charge) told me that they were expecting reservations. Maam that was still no reason to sit me in the storage area in the gravel. The male took me to my new table. Much better but was directly across from the original seat. I was given the complimentary chips and salsa quickly but that was the last time anyone came to see me. I sat for well over 20mins. Then someone asked if I had been helped at which I responded I'm leaving. Not sure what was going on but unfortunately this left me upset. And to top it off I was the only black person there.
