Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Went thru the drive thru for dinner for my family and I and man whoever the cook was today 3/10/26 at around 8:17pm made that jalapeño and cheese Whataburger, kids chicken bites and chicken tenders & fries to perfection 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 hope that whole kitchen team gets a raise!!!

The boyfriend and I were coming back late from Turks and Caicos. We were craving a good burger. It tasted better than ever. Yummy late night indulgence.

I came on January eighteen, around ten. I asked for the number twelve with only lettuce. And they took a while to give me my food, and when they did, they served me a burger with Mayo and lettuce. I am allergic to mayo, if not, I wouldn't mind and eat it. I went back again to tell them that they had put mayo on my burger and that I only wanted lettuce, and I said it loud enough and not fast in order for them to hear me properly but when they came back to give me my food, they gave me everything else in the burger, except for lettuce.
