Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.
Food was bland no salt on the fries. I ordered a large and they have me half full. I asked for spicy ketchup and was given only one when I ordered two meals. The lady at the window didn’t even say you’re welcome when I said thank you.

Breakfast is the worst time get "fast" food. On average for the early commuter you'll spend 20-30 minutes for your order. Just to be late to wherever you needed to be. You won't get any inclusions or updates that what you want is in stock or has to freshly pulled from the freezer some time after you've ordered. After several upsets of this experience, I preemptively ask about a product before hand and I get attitude and the person taking the order leaves mid conversation to a different person just so I have to start all over. Each time I've been in the morning after waiting for so long, the order came out entirely wrong or still frozen. Only once was I able catch the mistakes and just get a refund.
The rest of the day is is usually busy which makes a good cover up to why it takes so long, but in the morning when I'm the only person in line still waiting for 20-30 minutes is horrible. This place is 24 hours, they didn't just open, they are not understaffed, why the morning the worst service.

January 2021, cold night in Dallas. Pulled into Whataburger and grabbed food after a long day. Something about the bright lights and 24-hour energy made it feel like a classic travel memory.

A friend and I stopped by Whataburger to pick up some lunch. I had not been there in yrs! We ordered 2 #1 meals. We told the lady taking the order THREE TIMES that we wanted one with mustard, one without mustard. I hate mustard. It makes me throw up. One hamberger had 2 stickers on it that read mustard and mayo. The other had no stickers. We drove home, my friend went to her apt and I walked into my apt ready to eat. I opened my hamburger to add
Ketchup and there it was. A huge load of mustard! It made me gag. Horrible. My friend's hamburger also had mustard. I WILL NEVER GO BACK. I couldn't eat it. Yuck. What a waste of time and money.
