Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

    I noticed that the same person twice messed up my order on two different nights. I have missed food and gotten my order delivered to someone else. I love Whataburger but the experience at this one as gone down hill.

    The food was good, like always.. the service was not so good it took 20 minutes to get my burger and I was not happy at all.. and by the look of the rest of customers it was not a good experience

    Waiting in drivethru for 1 sandwich. A breakfast on a bun. I have been waiting over 15 minutes so far. Was asked to pull up to another window. 3 cars who ordered, after I paid and waited about 5 minutes, already got their food. I just got my food almost 20 minutes after I ordered. Sit down restaurants take less time to take your order, cook your food, and bring it to your table.

    I just witnessed cups falling from behind the register and the employee placed them back up there instead of throwing them in the trash. The only reason I went inside is because my drinks were incorrect in the drive thru. More training is needed at this location. **Update: spoke to the manager on duty, Jenna/Gema who seemed completely unbothered and non-chalant. This happened around 5:30 PM on 12/28/2025. I will not be returning and will be taking this to social media outlets.

    This morning, I ordered two taquitos and one hash brown. The guy in the drive thru asked me to confirm if I wanted one or two hash browns. I told him one. Got to work and opened the bag, then did a double take to check the receipt. He charged me for two hashbrowns and gave me none. This was my first trip to Whataburger in years and I will continue to stay away.
