Since 1950, Whataburger has proudly served a bigger, better burger. It all started when a young entrepreneur named Harmon Dobson had a bold idea: to serve a burger so big that it took two hands to hold, and so good that after a single bite customers couldn't help but exclaim, “What a burger!” He named his humble burger stand in Corpus Christi, Texas, “Whataburger.” Over six decades later, we're still family owned and operated. Each and every Whataburger® is still made to order. We still use 100% pure beef and serve it on a big, toasted five-inch bun. And now, as we proudly serve burgers, chicken, salads and breakfast at more than 800 Whataburger locations across the country, that first burger stand is still close to our hearts.

- KDken dy5 days ago5.0MARCH 11, 2026: I've eaten at several Whataburger restaurants across the Dallas Ft. Worth metroplex including this one, where Shalonta & Fernando have helped me. They've all been good. Today I dined-in at the Northwest Highway location. Rayna and Patrick Sr greeted me and took my order. The offer in the App was for a FREE MONTEREY MELT with the purchase of a MEDIUM FRY & MEDIUM DRINK. I love the fries, but today I wanted Onion Rings. No problem. It's a slight upcharge, but they will accommodate your special request. Rayna is new, and Patrick Sr was helping her. Every day is a school day. Jay Biggs asked if everything was ok, and helped complete the order. Eli(jah) brought the food to my table. Everything was fresh, hot, and cooked perfectly. Everyone who works here was efficient, courteous, and professional. Great team members! A positive shout-out to everyone who works here! Thank you very much Jay, and thanks for taking a couple minutes of your valuable time! I enjoyed our conversation. Good people who work here + good food + good customer service that exceeded my expectations = 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Google Reviews!

They have the best cobb salad compared to the restaurants next door, Chick-fil-A or Wendy's, and it's very large. I usually get a jalapeno ranch and a couple salsa verde for dressing. And, the ranch chicken wrap is a great bargain.

However, last night (12th of February 2026) was exceptionally impressive. Admittedly, the wait time was a bit longer than I usually experience, but so well worth the wait. The young man that took my order went above and beyond his call of duty. He was exceptionally polite, pleasant and poised. My order was hot and fresh with extras😉
