Ordered delivery for groceries. Small order that included the buy 2 12 pack soft drinks receive 3. The delivery guy text my phone and asked me to come downstairs, which I didn't see until later. Then he banged on my door and said he needed help. I had already tipped through website but if I had know I would receive such rude and lazy service I would have never ordered at all. He was in good shape and accepted the delivery but demanded help. You all definitely need to use a different delivery service.

This is an urgent security concern regarding someone in the Tom Thumb parking lot (8698 Skillman Ave at Royal) using technology to steal, clone or block frequencies of key fobs for various late model cars to keep them from locking or starting the vehicle (not just Kia vehicles). I've reported the following disturbing & frustrating experience to store mgmt and the Dallas Police Department at the NE Substation: On Sun 11/9/25 at about 4:30pm I parked our '23 Kia Sorento in front of the store. As I got out to go inside, I touched the door lock on the outside as normal and it did not lock. I tried again. It did not lock. I tried by key fob. It did not lock the doors. I figured the key fob battery had died and decided to run in for the few items I needed and check out the problem again when I got back. After shopping, I put groceries in the back - the rear hatch worked normally at a touch. I got back in the driver's seat and tried to start the Sorento. Nothing. The dash message was that my key was not recognized. This happens if I forget my key fob in the house before trying to start the car. I decided I did need to replace the coin battery. $10 later, I came back to the car and changed out the battery and it was still not recognized. Called my wife who was sick at home and asked her to bring me her key fob. As I waited for her, I changed the battery in the fob again and tried to start the car. The message now was to touch the start button with the dead fob. I did and the car started. Waved my wife off and drove home thinking I needed a software update from my Kia Dealer. Later my previously dead key fob worked as usual at home! My wife saw a post on the Nextdoor app for Lake Highlands where a neighbor had the same experience with his key fob for his Kia Telluride for his at the same Tom Thumb on the same Sunday afternoon! I posted my experience and soon owners of Nissan, Subaru, Dodge Ram and other makes posted their same experience at this store. BE CAREFUL AT THIS TOM THUMB or anywhere when your key fob suddenly stops working. Report any incidents you've had at this store to store mgmt and DPD. I have also elevated this to Albertson's customer service. We want to continue to shop at this store but ONLY if store mgmt , the shopping center manageemtn and Albertson's nationally take steps to protect customers when they park to go into the store.

Grocery business is fine, if coupons used, but permitting scammers to sit in lot and interrupt customer key fobs is not good. See photo. What does golf cart "security" do? Wife experienced same as this neighbor. Lot cameras active? Store management aware & doing anything?
