He accused me and my gf of stealing as we were still checking out and we were WORKING instacart. He claims that we didn't scan all of the items, which was not true. He was very aggressive and rude the way that he approached us and the way that he spoke to us. He literally was pushing us out of the store with a basket cart, we felt threatened and uncomfortable. Just because we're black, it doesn't mean that we're stealing. Save yourself the trouble and go to another Tom thumb.

Their online order shoppers do an amazing job of carefully pulling my order for pick- up and delivery. My only issue is that overall, the checkers are not careful. They often miss items that have mark- down stickers, and there are a couple that tend to double-scan items. I check my receipt regularly and over half the time, I've been overcharged. I've never had a receipt that had errors in my favor. They are not happy if I ask them to double- check what they've scanned. However, the customer service department is good about reviewing the issues and making them right. Keeping that in mind, I continue to shop here because the store is very well- kept and has reliable, high- quality food.

The one star is for customer service 2 people that i Ran across were very rude and that’s not a tone u use in customer service with customers. I understand Tom Thumb has a policy that if Someone looks young everyone gets ID, well at least that’s what I was told. Don’t expect everyone to know your policy it’s your teams job to educate the customers. Another policy that im Aware of is you have to have hard copy identification no pictures. So if we’re following policy why is it that i Was allowed to purchase alcohol just from showing my picture ID. When I called and ask to speak to a manager I got Chris in customer service whos also rude and didn’t understand what I was complaining about and wanted to set the record straight with me again very rude . Not how you handle Customers , this by far the rudest Tom Thumb I’ve visited! Please educate your staff on better customer service and letting customers know your policy not to “first of all let me set the record straight “. If this is how Chris speaks to customers I feel sorry for those are under him! Do better at this location!
